Channel banner video unpauses itself if paused
On any offline streamer's channel, whether browsing clips/past broadcasts, at the top of the screen, if they're not hosting another streamer, then usually there will be the 'check out this stream from X time ago' alongside a player that will auto-play the most recent VOD.
if you try to pause it so you can browse through whatever it is you want to look through, it will forcibly unpause itself at some random point in time later, whether it's the immediate next second or a few seconds later.
i can't imagine this is an intended feature. please fix

I've been having this happen for my own videos, apparently it was linked to a twitch ad block extension. It stopped doing this right after I turned that extension off. Worth a shot to check if thats the case

This just started happening with all past broadcasts brought up now as well not just the banner. This is getting really annoying

I agree this is so annoying I just have to keep all twitch tabs closed now.

I too have this glitch, very silly. I can understand most bugs but one that unpauses a video? pretty sure the internet has had this technology mastered for a few years now. This shouldn't be intentional but it feels like there is an intentional troll unpausing it evertime I pause it like a bad episode of tom and jerry LUL

man i've been noticing this lately too, it's annoying as all ****, fix this ****. It's especially annoying if I'm watching SOMETHING ELSE and just want to leave the twitch page open to watch something later and not forget about it...
I suppose I could just mute the tab twitch is on, but then that **** video is eating up my bandwidth unpausing itself, and IT SHOULDN'T DO THAT ANYWAY...
