There are some interesting new ideas, like Video trailer, and social media links, but honestly for 2 new interesting Ideas, the new Layout is way too complicated.

Panels have been streamers way of getting more info out about themselves. I don't know why the "Home" tab and the "Chat" tab can't be merged: Keep the "Chat" layout and have the "Video Trailer" where the Stream Video usually is. and I agree that people should be able to opt out from the whole video trailer thing, so they can keep their offline screens.

The rest of the Home Tab, and About Tab, I don't see the use for it? I almost feel as if more things were just added to give people things to click on. I don't understand the point of having panels in 2 tabs and videos in 3, do there really need to be so many repeats?

Adding social media links is a good idea but there are compact ways to do it that doesn't require all this extra work. i.e click-able buttons on the side somewhere with social media icons. Doesn't need a whole new page with things you can already find on the "chat" tab

The Home Tab also just reminds me of Youtube. The Chat Box at the right hand side always gave Twitch it's Unique Twitch feel...Social Media are looking too alike. You can just make the Chat area collapsable.... oh like it already is?

Schedule tab, is not completely pointless, but it is just clunky and unnecessary. that could easily just be another panel. or a little note by our user names (on chat or home page) that says "last streamed x hrs ago" or "x days ago" really don't need a whole page for it especially when most of us use use stream labs IF we even have a schedule.

TL;DR Don't give a lot of space to things that don't need it. I don't know who is complaining about the original Twitch Layout so why not add things that don't compromise or devalue it too much. stop repeating things.

The general feel of it is nice and not too different from Twitch, it matches the feel of the whole site. but honestly way too complicated.
