Alright, I’m going to add on to this with what I think will work, this is also a response to Vorti75’s comment.

So I have a couple methods that some quality streamers can be picked out from streamers who don’t really try and don’t have the intent of being on the front page of twitch,

A. There might be an achievement for streaming consistently for about a month and one they get that achievement they can become eligible to be featured, this is so streamers that are putting in the effort to get known can be rewarded

B. The streamer would need an average of about 6 viewers per stream, this is to guarantee that the streamer has content that is entertaining to watch even to a small group of people, that way when the rest of twitch is introduced to this streamer there will be a high likelihood that more people will like the content.

C. As said in the original post twitch staff and moderators can hand pick streamers, this has it’s obvious pros and cons the biggest one being that it’s a lot of work, so I think the A and B solutions will both work better

All three ideas, A B and C can all work well together or individually, and overall I think this is a really efficient solution to the questions posed in Vorti’s comment.

I'll play devil's advocate here.

With 95% of the platform averaging under 5 average, how would this be implemented, who would monitor it, and what are the expectations for "quality streamers"

I'm just asking what the actual idea is. The reason I ask is that I've spent a couple years trying to find small streamers I enjoy watching and it's rather difficult because most don't speak, don't have a camera, or just don't produce quality content in general. While there are diamonds low on directories, it's a lot of effort to find those people in the haystack.

I'd love to hear some thoughts about what this could look like, and how it could be rolled out in a realistic fashion without utilizing an excess of manpower to make it happen.

En mi opinión yo no me lo tomo cono un trabajo es un hobby tengo casi 1k de viwers y estoy en que en recomendados se nos podría poner un apartado por ejemplo small stremer y darnos visibilidad a gente como yo y muchos que llevamos ya mas de 4 años stremeando,y otro tema es que al hacer stremer con la consola poner extensiones que podamos hacer más cambios en nuestros canales y no tener que tener ordenador,controladora etc etc y para terminar se hablo de un pequeño sueldo no estaría mal que a los afiliados que no somos top nos podrian dar por ejemplo 100€ semanales claro que al cabo del mes tener unas horas concretas y así seria una alluda para mejorar nuestros canales no pedimos sueldazos pero eso nos incentivaria mas para hacer mas horas y cada dia.

I completely understand where y’all are coming from. It's frustrating when the platform doesn't seem to prioritize newcomers like us. I agree that Twitch should give equal opportunities to all streamers, regardless of our fan base size. It would definitely benefit Twitch as a whole if they supported us equally and helped us succeed. Let's keep supporting each other and making Twitch the best it can be!

Twitch please improve the algorithm, if it's that you even have one... Because we want fair growing and it's quite difficult on your platform, because you only boost already big audience streamers and give no chance for little streamers. This is the only platform that if you want to grow in it, you'll have to be juggling with all other social medias to redirect people, and most of the cases it doesn't work. Be fair, change your browsing page and give recommendations for people bases in the streamer they watch and include some hidden gems. Also browsing your page is terrible, work on it. Because YES is a lot more pleasing to go and put your energy on YouTube

Lose the term quality and boost small broadcasters. They produce no drama, no policy strikes and they produce game content. I streamed for 6 months but twitch really did nothing to help so I switched YouTube and that has been great.
Stop letting this happen one day a week support streamers with under 50 subs including those with none

The idea is to have a special day for small streamers. in which the views list is inverted and we can see all the small streamers first. This is so that at least one day the new streamers are seen by more people, even in recomendation and can get an audience. It's just an idea that can be even better.

Make front page featured sections exclusively streamers under a 75 viewer average, possibly lower to encourage helping them reach partner status. Having it be exclusively affiliate streamers makes sense, but no matter what you do please stop promoting streamers with thousands of viewers who are already at the peak of visibility and dominating their respective categories. Front page promotion should be exclusively for small streamers that need growth. I know there's sections for small streamers already; I'm just saying instead of What's Hot giving xqc who already has 30k viewers even more viewers it should be replaced with a Growing Affiliates section or something. There is never enough visibility or promotion for small streamers.

Adding a "Small Streamer Of The Day" feature to help active small streamers gain followers, visibility and recognition they deserve. This can be randomized or just based on the amount of subs received that day or followers, chat interaction, entertainment, consistency etc. That’ll also help big streamers who enjoy raiding others to easily make their choice.

Some on, let us have some of the homepage instead of just those with thousands of followers and tons of viewers

more often then not the little guy is always overlooked and hardly recognized. i would like to see twitch 1-2 days a week recommend new channels with less than 150 followers on the first page to give us little guys a chance. i would also like to see streamers that have a large following or presence to recommend a channel of their choice with less than 150 followers 1 or 2 days a week. never forget where you came from we all started as the little guy. I the strongest community's help each other out.

Em questão de recomendação de um canal ou streamer.

Que trabalhassem melhor nisso. Não sei, criando uma aba de "canal no topo"

Assim como tem na plataforma TROVO, como foi mencionada aqui nessa pesquisa.

Onde as pessoas contribuir com os pontos do canal com algum icone ilustrativo referente a essa aba, até um ponto máximo desse ícone e quando bate o número máximo, o canal ser direcionado a essa aba de topo da página principal da Twitch. Claro que essa função do ícone de impulso só teria para canais pequenos como um exemplo (mil seguidores ou pouco mais) acima disso os canais médios e grandes não teria mais essa função. Essa ideia para ajudar mais ainda um streamer novo e incentiva mais a ele contínua streamando na plataforma.

Poderia também ter uma monetização de números de pessoas assistindo para canais pequenos. Quanto mais ele tiver pessoas assistindo mais ele ganha. Claro fora os anúncios que a plataforma recebe. Claro também que tem que ter até um número certo de seguidores e pessoas assistindo, exemplo (até mil seguidores e até 50 ou 75 pessoas assistindo) e a partir de um número maior disso não teriam mais esse programa. Que a parti daí as monetização seria como é hj para todos.

Esses seria meus pontos que a Twitch ficaria melhor que já é, a melhor plataforma de streaming.
