2. Lower the Margin on Bits

   I just purchased 1500 bits ($15 to streamer) for $19.95 -- a $4.95 markup. This made me think about the amount of bit donations vs. PayPal donations I've seen over the years, and the fees associated with PayPal are much more attractive.

   Bits however are very interactive and entertaining. The novelty of getting a bit badge and having your cheer posted at the top of the chat is likely a reason why people choose to pay the premium. That being said, for every person that buys bits, the other person donates on PayPal because its cheaper. If Twitch wants to maximize bit revenue, they need to lower the margin from ~20% to as low as 5-6%. For comparison, PayPal charges 3.6%. I would happily pay double the premium for the novelty and enjoyment of bits over paypal if it wasn't so ridiculously marked up.

3. Edit power-up colors

   Allow custom coloring and the ability to move power-ups, below the channel point rewards, not only at the top.

   Why are they pink, lime and robins-egg blue.
   But not adjustable? It doesn't match my brand. OCD! They also do not show on mobile. So it's not really a "consistent viewing experience." If twitch cannot remove them, please allow customization of background color.

5. Why did you all remover bits for Polls???

   Why were bits removed from poll usage?!?

   I use polls for viewer watch party. The polls are for what genre and movies will be played at the time of the watch party. I allow extra votes to be cast using bits. I choose bits because it deters trolling. I choose 10 bits per upvote but depending on the other types of polls the amount can go up or down.

   I can not use channel points because some of my viewers have over 300k and could potentially spam. Voting for something that is not necessarily an mutually beneficial outcome for all viewers.

   Bit voting also allows another way to support the streamer. There have been plenty requests to extend the time of polls. But I don’t think anyone has ever said remove bit voting as it is streamer choice on rather to use bits or channel points.

   Please return the option to use bits for extra votes in polls exactly how it was before. There weren’t any issues with functionality or optimization of bit usage. While you’re returning polls to their glory, please extend polls to be up to 24 hours. (Like cost of voting, Streamer inputs desired time).

6. Toggle to hide bits amount next to channel points

   I've just noticed that there's now a bits counter next to the channel points counter, under chat. Could this possibly be toggled on/off in settings? I much prefer just the channel points to be there, as I do not use bits, so now I just have a useless counter next to my channel points.

7. Add custom cheermotes for affiliates

   Partner have the possibility to add a cheer emote which users can use to cheer. It would be great if that would also be possible for affiliates. Like this viewers can donate bits more personal to the channel as with the default ones.
   So partners have still a difference to affiliates at this point they could get i.e. a second or maybe also third custom cheermote slot.

9. Add an option to disable to combo animations on mobile

   There is currently no way to disable the new combo animations that display when on mobile. It can be very distracting and shouldn’t be up to the streamer to disable, assuming there’s even a way to disable it on the creator side as well. Not having a way to disable a feature that can cover half or 3/4 of the screen on mobile, a screen that is already quite small comparatively, is a bad UI decision. Reverse this or give it an option to disable it.

11. Twitch Power-up basic functionality integration

    • Power-ups and Twitch Alerts/bots:
      Power-ups don't trigger cheer alerts and I can't find any way to indicate on-stream that bits have been used. As a streamer, I rely on audio queues to let me know someone has spent money on my channel so that I can thank them in a timely manner. This is basic functionality, I need a way to interact with this redemption that blends seamlessly with existing alerts and recognition for bits.

    • Power-ups & Channel Points
      Could power-ups be moved to a separate cheering menu from Channel Points? It was really confusing the first time I saw it and I didn't realize it was trying to use bits for the redemption. If the Power-ups list is going to remain in the channel point menu, which I hope it doesn't, could you please add bit icon next to the Power Up section title and add a border/box or something to clearly differentiate the premium redemptions from the free Channel Point redemptions? Maybe change the shape of the redeption button and add a border or effect to it to make it clearer that this is a bit redemption and not channel points?

    • Celebrations in broadcast software/settings
      The celebration effect is pretty interesting, but streamers don't usually see it if they're using OBS. Without some type of plugin support for OBS, this creates an asymmetrical experience for streamers and viewers unless the streamer also has their stream open. Power-ups become part of our service offering, it would be helpful to see what's happening in real time and have some control over what emotes can be used.

14. Ability to customize Bit "Cheermotes" so you can add your emotes

    To give the streamers more personalization, incorporating functionality to allow a streamer to add custom cheermotes in the same fashion they are able to for channel emotes and bit badges would be beneficial to the growth of a channel.

    This would not be a change in the functionality of bit cheering, but rather a change in the cosmetics.
