Lower quantity of bits packages I’m a Twitch streamer and I’d like to share an idea that comes from observing part of my audience, especially younger viewers.
Many users, particularly teenagers and young people, purchase gift cards (such as Google Play or similar) for mobile games or apps. Very often, they are left with small remaining balances: a few cents or a couple of euros/dollars that aren’t enough for meaningful purchases. These leftover credits usually end up being spent on micro-currencies on other platforms or on low-value content.

An "effortless" way to give a streamer a dollar (and maybe get an hour or two without ads) Someone sees a new game, they go to twitch to watch it being played - there is no need for them to subscribe to a channel when it's being seen for this common purpose. Pay 100 bits for 24hr ad-free per channel If $5.99 or whatever buys 30 days of ad-free viewing (per channel), then being able to pay 100 bits for a single day of ad-free viewing per channel would be a massive profit to Twitch. I am not on Twitch every day and I can't be, so it feels like I am wasting money on a 30-day sub to someone, but if I can get ad-free for about $1 for just that day, then that is potentially $30/month spent instead of the $6 you would normally get. Allow an option for the streamer to chose "use only my emotes" for Gigantify an Emote & On-Screen Celebration Family-friendly streamers could get a non-family-friendly emote splattered all over their screen. We need this feature especially if there is no way to disable the feature.

Please do not remove the ability to cheer anonymously Today (Oct 24, 2022) Anon cheering seems to have been disabled for some reason. Please do not remove the ability to cheer Anonymously.
Some of us like to donate bits and don't want to be "recognized" for it. Removing the ability to cheer anonymously will just make us not cheer at all.
If this was somehow something streamers were asking for, then make it a per-stream setting a streamer can toggle (but default ON).

Hey all! Thanks for this thread. We recently deprecated anonymous Cheering after we discovered it was being abused. While we understand some viewers prefer not being recognized for Cheering, we made this change to ensure a safer experience for those who were negatively impacted.
We’ve also heard your concerns on what this means for the future of Bits. This deprecation is not related to any plans to limit Cheering with Bits on Twitch, and is solely focused on providing a safer experience for our community.

Live Streamers who time out people for cheering bits should be banned. I cheered a partnered TWITCH streamer 500 bits tonight only to be timed out for 5 minutes and told that their stream was serious so they don't do bits.
Since when can a live streamer over ride the platform and make their own rules.
The self entitlement of this live streamer is ridiculous and I did not even receive a thank you and this casts a bad light on other live streamers as anyone who saw what happened would think that live streamers on the platform are money grabbing scam artists with their own rules and agendas.2 votes -
Please move the powerups away from the Channel points UI! So I do think this new bits thing has some promise, I totally support it, but I think a lot of people are going to complain and be upset with the positioning in the user interface. It makes people who cant afford bits feel bad and negative about constantly seeing a Zero next to the bit icon under the chat.

Please remove the power-ups location next to channel points area Space is precious on the Twitch desktop browser. The constant moving has tricked me into hitting the Power-UPS instead of channel points. Leave the channel points area alone. Put the Power-ups in with BITS not channel points.

Bits were stolen My wallet reflects my bits purchase but when i tried to do a text-to-speak on a channel i've been subbed to for 2 years, it said there was a technical error and took my bits. I'm frustrated that my money was taken for nothing and there's seemingly nothing I can do about it. It feels like I'm jumping through hurdles just trying to report this issue.

Bits used on Power Ups should count towards Cheer badges on channels. Bits used for the new Power Ups don't currently progress existing Cheer badges, but it would be great if they did count, since it's still using bits on the streamers channel.
