Werbung abändern Die momentane Werbung, die seitlich vom Stream eingeblendet wird und dadurch Streamfenster verkleinert und danach wieder vergrößert, macht einen kopftechnisch nach gewisser Zeit kirri. Möchte nicht wissen, wie stark andere das negativ wahrnehmen.
Bitte macht die Ads meinetwegen, wie teils schon, unterhalb vom Stream wo eigentlich Titel etc. steht, hauptsache nichts am Streambild wird skaliert. Da könnte man auch die Werbespots für andere Dinge machen, wen es interessiert wird schon drauf klicken.

Give Creators More Options for Ad Frequency The games I play and my content style does not lend itself well to ads every hour. And, to be frank, 3 minutes isn't a long enough time for me to actually have a proper break and get the things I need to get done done during my breaks.
I would greatly appreciate being able to run longer ad breaks less frequently to better work within the shape of my content.
Specifically, I think the addition of options for 4.5 minutes of ads every hour and a half and 6 minutes every 2 hours would be very helpful so that…

skipping ads bug I noticed on darthmicrotransaction's live stream that I can skip the ads by pressing the ""resubscribe"" button, the commercial ended immediately and I went right back to the live stream. I dont know if this is a bug or not, but I choose to be honest about this.

Variation of the Advertisements Right now i am getting one and the same Ad sometimes 3 times in a row in the same Ad-roll, and most of the time during the next Ad-roll as well. Although Ad's are to support your streamer, spamming the same Ad 3 times in a +3 minute Ad-roll is getting very very annoying.
Is it possible to make some sort of algorhythm (or improve that one) so you won't see the same Ad every Ad-roll, or like +/-6 times every hour? More variety would make the ad'sperience more natural.2 votes -
Predictable Ads - Best solution for both sides? I very often get ads in the middle of an intense situation or an interesting conversation. This is very frustrating and in the last weeks, I just turn off Twitch because unpredictable ads in the middle of the stream just don't work in a live stream for me.
If there are no ways to reduce the ads mid-stream, maybe give the viewers more control when the ad is played.
So for example let's say there has to be X ads in 30 min, just give the viewer the option to start the ads at a given time.

Amount of ADS I keep trying to watch ads, but it's only about 3 minutes of consecutive ads :(

Most annoying ads campaigns on the planet are on this website and you are not helping it. I wanted to be constructive about my hatred for ads on this site and come up with ideas but then I realized i didnt work for twitch and thats not my job.
It's 2024 and it's not possible that the best thing that your ad team has come up with is picture in picture ads not realizing that's terrible just as much as watching the ad entirely. Make ad-free a Prime Benefit again or keep ads relevant to Twitch It's a really simple implementation to the first part.
Put ad-free viewing back as a Prime benefit! Ever since the glut of advertisements started, I had subscribed to Amazon Prime to avoid them while still supporting my favorite streamers. I'd gladly watch ONE 20s preroll if it meant I didn't have to see a single one throughout that stream or elsewhere afterwards.
I'm not gonna add another $10 on top of my Prime subscription to get the outmoded and archaic Turbo.

Irritating ads Some of the ads I'm getting now are so unfathomably annoying that I will be taking measures to avoid them. How about twitch take note when someone never watch an add? Is that even possible. Cuz I watch the "normally annoying" ads, but there's three ads right now that I would tear my ears off rather than listen to them one more time.

Switch up the frequency of seeing the same ad I get the importance of ads for the website but seeing the same annoying and cringy ads over and over really do not make me want to keep watching on the site. The little ceasers ones specially for example are WAY OVERPLAYED and when I do get one of these I close the tab and go hang out on youtube now. THANK YOU: Audio only ads I just want to say THANK YOU to whoever thought of and implemented audio only ads overlaid on the streamer’s video stream, like a podcast. Fake engagement I have seen many unengaged creators using artificial mechanisms to earn money with ads. In addition to being an unfair way, this can cause problems for Twitch by taking money from ads without having the audience to do so. Today there are many mechanisms that appear to be authentic public but are not. With Moss.gg for example. Lives by creators who are part of this type of "networking" often have dozens or even hundreds of people watching them, but they do not represent a real community. New Audio only adds are way too loud Much like with radio or spotify ads, the new audio only ads Ive experienced are much louder than the content I'm watching. It may technically be made to match the sound level of the content, but often these types of ads are compressed to seem much louder. Hopefully ads content is reviewed ahead of time before they are published and can catch this type of artificially boosted loudness. Ive not experienced the same problem with regular ads.

Skulls & Bones Ads Are EXCESSIVELY LOUD Watching a stream, which at a point it was very quiet, immediately a short "Skulls & Bones" ad plays & it was uncomfortably loud, I could hear it 2 rooms away. Ads love to have loud volume to catch the viewer's attention, but people who have sensitive hearing could get very anxious, or panicky. other ads are nowhere near as loud as skulls & bones. it was extremely obnoxious.
