Shell / Fossil fuel company advertising How dare you run Shell greenwashing advertisements showcasing their pathetic inadequate carbon neutral by 2050 marketing. Shell has a long record of unmet environmental obligations that is readily documented. This is an utter disgrace and you should all be ashamed of yourselves for running such garbage

use my mother tongue für advertisement It's kind of stupid to run ads in a language I don't understand or from a country I don't live in. I neither buy products abroad nor watch movies in a language I do not understand. Finally stop sending advertisements based on IP address when my language is on my profile.

Skipping Ads + Ads Fix I find myself going into someone's stream and instantly leaving when having to wait for an add to play. We live in a "now" type of world and I find this to be unattractive to the person using the twitch platform as well as the person streaming.
I would recommend waiting for the ad to be in place after a certain amount of time watching the streamer rather then the add playing instantly when then link is opened and someone is trying to engage.
Thank You,

Ads should be able to be played, so I don't get locked out of watching a streamer. I don't think this is the correct place to post the bug, but on firefox I have had an issue trying to watch a streamer where you will serve me an ad and then refuse to let the ad play. Thus I am locked out of the stream because it repeatedly serves another ad that doesn't play if I hit refresh. I hear that advertisers prefer their ads to be played too.
I don't think this is the correct spot to be posting this, but when I tried to go through your help section it felt very clunky and all…

Please don't run ads at source quality as some of us have low bandwidth. This can also be a problem if we already have another stream running as it will pause/buffer due to the bandwidth being sucked up by the ad.

beschissene turbo Werbung, krank schlecht.

Parity between Site rules and ad rules Gambling is not allowed on twitch, gambling ads should not be allowed on twitch. As an example, I get around 2 Hard Rock ads, one for a polymarket type platform, and one for Fanduel per hour ad cycle on a channel with hourly ad breaks. These ads are promoting content that is banned on the platform, so these ads should not be playing. Please do not take this as a complaint against banning gambling content.

Display in chat who Leadmod is In the chat, these are categorized in the user display, so why can't the lead moderator also be displayed?

Please stop showing that deranged Kalshi ad. The one that basically says, "Yay, let's profit from societal collapse!"
It's ugly and sad. I would never buy a product that advertises itself by celebrating nihilism.

Fewer commercials and ads, better ad quality, and no more 'twitch turbo' pop-ups The endless ways that commercials and advertisements are featured on Twitch is inexcusable. Now we get random pop-ups to buy twitch turbo to get rid of ads, even on channels who have disabled ad revenue! This was particularly frustrating to be seeing lately. All this just makes me want to delete my account. It's actually awful and stupid to do that to users who pay for subscriptions on twitch. And, they will still get ads on the channel they're subbed to if that streamer is collaborating with other streamers who they are not subbed to. That's an invasion of their…
