Have a button that allows the viewer to execute the ad break.
Ads are a serious issue. Especially when watching a stream and an ad hits at a crucial moment. To correct this, allow the viewer to choose when the ad hits. Maybe there's a break in the action or maybe the viewer needs to go to the bathroom. Have a button that allows the viewer to execute the ad break. Then allow the stream to go for 30-60 minutes. If they don't execute, then the ad runs on the timer as usual. This way, not only will the viewer be more incline to watch the stream, but they will be more incline to execute ads. I know banking ads is not a great idea because it'll be abused. This really can't be and gives more power to the viewer.
also utilize popup ads or mini player ads more on the stream instead of covering the vod

I voted for this and now I'm going to add a comment. My comment is Twitch needs to release a hardware that triggers the aDs.

Excellent idea. I know some streamers will run ads while they’re in a lobby waiting for a new game to start but not everyone remembers to and not all run ads during lobby breaks either. This would be wonderful so we the viewers can run the ads in between games.

This a fantastic idea, as lately the moment I pull up a stream it goes to an ad roll regardless if I'm subbed or not, but I don't see adverts at all it just locks the screen up. I usually have to refresh the browser 3 or 4 times before I can see the content I opened in the first place.
