Ads Incentive Program
We are launching a new ad program aimed at providing predictability for your ad revenue. How it works is that you stream for a specific number of hours — while running ads — in exchange for a flat payout. The goal is simple: help you earn a more predictable monthly income through ads, with no ceiling on earning potential. We want to help remove the guesswork of your monthly ad payout. We’ve built it on top of Ads Manager so it is easy to use. Just set your ad schedule and you are ready to go.
The Ads Incentive Program is available for select Creators in the Ads Manager section of your Creator Dashboard (as a note we are not currently accepting requests to join the program).
These offers are just the beginning for this program. You can find out more information here:
Twitch Blog: https://blog.twitch.tv/2022/02/22/reliable-ad-revenue-with-one-click-its-really-happening/
Help Article: https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/ads-incentive-program
We expect to improve this experience over time in order to make the lives of creators easier and we look forward to hearing your feedback.
Hey everyone! Popping in to let you all know we are wrapping up this post in UserVoice, however please feel free to continue to leave us suggestions for the Ads Incentive Program in the respective category in UserVoice, which can be found here. For more information on this program, please visit our blog and help article for additional details.
We appreciate your feedback, thank you all and have a wonderful day!

Why is this not available for every streamer? Us small affiliate streamers already struggle by literally everything we do on the website, at least include us to this programme so we can actually earn some money?

Soon we have to pay YOU to have Ads

As a viewer any ads that are played mid stream interrupting the stream I just stop watching so you earn less money as it runes my enjoyment of the stream.

Boas ainda n recebi a oferta de incentivo de anúncios, sou afiliado, tenho que ter alguns requisitos?, por exemplo fazer 100 horas/mês para receber essa oferta ou alguma coisa mais?
o canal é twitch.tv/horraciomen

No, we don't want ads. We don't want our streams randomly interrupted, or even following a schedule. This is not air TV, this is livestreaming, an entirely different animal. But even then, what do people watching TV do when ads pop up? They change the channel. What people on twitch do when ads pop up? THE EXACT SAME THING! We've known this for... decades now????? INTRUSIVE FULL SCREEN ADS HAVE, DO AND WILL NEVER WORK!
I want to downvote

I think this program is partially the right answer. The streamer still needs more control over the experience based on their content delivery. The recurring themes around ads tend to be duration, density, brands, and type. The streamer should have a granular level of control based on those factors.
I would like to be able to select brands that I am comfortable having on my channel, and when those ads run and still be able to be eligible for the incentive.
The issue I have already seen with the incentive program is that I met the requirement for one month, then the next month it was more ad time for less payout. That is not right. I would do more for more, but no one in their right mind would do more for less than precedent.
It is a decent enough start, but it needs some more work for sure.

I do not like ads, however I do believe the Ad Incentive Program is a good compromise.
I would wish that Twitch was 1) more transparent what they base your offer on an 2) more flexibility when ads are being played as live content often doesn‘t allow for a scheduled break, without taking away hype moments!
If I was able to have a little bit of wiggle room I‘d be a lot ore inclined to using ads. F.e. if I need to play 3 min of ads an hour, it would be nice to be able to manually move them by maybe a max of 30 min as needed. If I am in the middle of the game, but want to take a break after anyway it would make a whole lot more sense to move my ad break into my break.
And in terms of transparency, it‘s hard to understand what these offers are based on when people similar size get offered 10x the amount. Thanks! -

I play ads at the beginning and any brb breaks. I hate this automatic bs! Nobody wants to sit through random 10 ads when conversing with a streamer. I hate it as a viewer and I hate it as a streamer.

Hey so I'd like to ask please keep it to 100 or less on the amount of hours streamed for the mental health of your streamers. Every streamer should get a break from streaming. This month I was asked to do 152 hours of streaming that is insane imo. The only reason why last month I even did 192 hours was since I had a lot of events going on. If you keep it above 100+ you will see burnout happen. That would cause streamers who make you money by showing ads in the first place to stop and take a break = to loss in profit for twitch themselves.

I Did receive ADS Incentive Notification, that its available for my channel, and when i go to creator dashboard i cant see it, its not there

Atomic_Ceno commented
Other people have said this, but it would be nice if we could manually run the 3-minute ad per hour to disable pre-rolls. Getting penalized for needing to snooze the ad or run it manually during a break is unfair to affiliates.
-
CapCorgi commented
PLEASE let us manually choose when to run the 3 minutes of ads rather than using the ads manager tool.
I, for example, play 3 minutes of manual ads whenever I take a break for my back/water/bathroom once every 45-55 minutes but it's always random exactly when I do so.
It would really help to NOT have this incentive linked to the tool.

The program right now is missing the feature to control ads frequency:
I would rather stream 200 hours with 3 min of ads per hour, than 150 hours with 4 minutes of ads per hour so I can consistently cancel preroll ads during all my sessions. When it was set as 1-2-3 minutes program offer, this was fine because of the anti-preroll incentive, but beyond that it's off-putting.
I didn't reach my quota yet but what happens when you finish your quota but still decides to stream a few more hours? Does ads still play following the accepted program regimen or can the streamer decide the ads schedule from that point on?
-
Ferrari_Fire commented
This is an amazing program for partners, but what happened with affiliates sucks. We cant control the length of preroll ads after the cooldown is finished and it seems like a ridiculous amount of ads are playing now.
We get like $5 a month from ads so id rather the sub money than the ad revenue, our numbers arent high enough.
Please fix this! -

I was just told via email and an alert on twitch.tv that I'm eligible for the 55% split, but when I go to the Ads manager, the option to enable it like the guide says isn't there, and I've had my ads set to 3 min every hour for quite some time.

I am a partner, streaming regularly and didn't get an offer so far. Really upset about that. Don't understand why this is happening. :(

I did the ad incentive for last month but just now while receiving my twitch payout, the ad incentive price was not included
