Every **** 10min midroll ads again. I wont watch livestreams like this anymore. Just vods. There is no point to watch gaming streams with this ********

these midroll ads literally make the streams unwatchable. they last for min. 15 seconds every 5 to 10 minutes, on live streams, making the viewers miss so much content. i keep quitting streams and turning to youtube for entertainment because these last few days i found twitch to be unusable. this is live content, it's really a dumb idea to think midroll ads can be a thing. but i guess twitch cares more about the money than the quality of its platform?

Wtf, get rid of this ****, i can't watch twitch anymore.

REMOVE MIDROLL ADS! After the 'ad' plays the volume of the stream is greatly reduced plus i miss portions of the stream that matter. especially in just chatting streams. this means people will stop watching. i like that the video is still happening in the background, BUT without hearing what is going on it is pointless for just chatting and music streams. the timing can be the absolute worst too. the reason i watch twitch over youtube is because of no midroll interrupting ads. I am considering limiting my time on twitch because of this. considering I watch twitch all day right now, that is a huge blow. plus it means discovering new streamers is going to be harder if at all. no one can afford to sub to everyone nor do people necessarily want to pay more for turbo. please let the streamer control midrolls just as they do other kinds of ads. plus the ads in general are waaay too frequent.

Mid-roll ads are the worst. Especially for ASMR streamers. It makes them lose viewers. Nobody wants to go to sleep watching ASMR and then be woken up by blaring loud ads.

These new mid-roll ads are absolutely HORRENDOUS and are completely crippling the streaming/viewing experience for everyone. This is the most aggressively obtrusive method you could have possibly implemented. Not only does it not work because people will just tab out or leave the stream all together but it goes directly against the point of live streaming... I can't believe it's gotten to the point that it has but if it doesn't change and revert back to how it was before people WILL leave. And if enough people get sick of it as they are now, streamers will have to find another platform to use and abandon twitch all together. FIX THIS NOW.

I'm getting two 15-second ads every 5 minutes (not 10, 5) on channels I'm paid to subscribe to. I thought paid subs were supposed to not receive ads. Prime sub, yes but paid? WTF is happening here?

Way to destroy your platform. You think you're too big to fail. MySpace thought the same thing. These ads are unbearable and interrupt the content that you rely on to generate your revenue, making it unwatchable. Your CEO wants $1 billion in ad revenue (for no reason other than to look good), but instead will end up with losses due to driving away your viewers. The real problem is you end up hurting the content creators who rely on your platform.

this is getting stupid im geting ads every 5-10mins its live content mid-roll ads is not smart/good its not like a video or tv ware the content stops and plays ware you left off who ever let this go in to the testing needs a review to make shore there even reading what put in front of them that and it shode be the streamer that controles when and if they want ads to be played i can see lot people leave your platform over somthing like this

I am also getting ads every 10-15 minutes. 2 ads back to back. Are you kidding me? Is it like I am watching TV now? The ads roll over critical moments in streams, missing content, and now this is making me want to just leave Twitch. Did Amazon give Twitch the financial ban hammer and force them to make more mid roll ads? Can we get some answers? Why is this happening, it is very invasive, can it stop, is there a middle ground that we can somehow get to, etc?

I'm getting "ad breaks" literally every 10 minutes. Completely disruptive and makes me want to stop using your service. These are LIVE streams with things happening in realtime - not a TV show with a scripted pause for an ad break - not that that's okay, either. I stopped watching Cable TV for this exact reason, and if you continue with this, I'll have to stop watching my favorite streamers and go elsewhere.

Twitch is literally committing suicide by allowing these mid-roll ads. If they have any hope of staying alive they WILL stop it, NOW.

The ad system ist perfect without the midroll ads garbage.
Twitch makes tons of money from normal ads already and through subs. Midroll ads are completely not needed! Unnecessary!
I just got ads every 15 Minutes(!) while watching a speedrun. Guess what? I missed key content. Yeah thank you very much. I can not describe how ****** I am.
This is not frigging television you know?

Since yesterday I am getting mid-roll test-adds or something. No real add just a colorful screen that states "commercial break in progress" for 2x15 sec or something and then the stream continues sometimes or just stays black.
That happens on Streams I am a sub at as well.

Yet im being spammed with midrolls every 10 minutes and its literally ruining the fun of watching streams, missing exciting moment or dialogue every 10 minutes literally kills any enjoyment in watching a stream.

Mid-rolls is a very bad idea and one of the reason adblocks even became a thing in the first place, people do NOT want to miss the action and this is ruining that exact thing.

Constant mid-stream adverts for amazon prime tv shows. Each advert causes the stream to lag and stutter on resumption.

So I cancelled prime. Nice work.

yall are treating this as if its a 20th century model of tv advertisements

the streamers do the influencing through sponsorships and during their streams just from talking to chat about the products they like, you can at least give the streamer the power so they know they arent preventing chat from the exact experience we are here for, live in the moment entertainment and interactivity

one of the reasons i watch twitch is because there arent ads, now i get bombarded even with adblock, switch to a different stream, new ad, ad runs and lags out the stream then we have to refresh...and get more ads

you do not understand this platform, and now i find myself ACTIVELY AVOIDING THE PRODUCTS BEING ADVERTISED

Imagine you are watching Among Us streaming when the vote goes on. AND 6 ADS SHOWS UP then you miss the whole discussions. WTH think the midroll ads can be use in streaming? Your ads team should be FIRED!!!!!!
