Can't stop Celebreate SUBtember from appearing!
This is VERY frustrating. The stupid bright yellow banner "Celebreate SUBtember" is appearing on EVERY STREAM I visit in my browser and has been for days (of not longer). I already opened a ticket (under an unrelated category, discussed below) with the help team and they blew me off and said to post here. This is ridiculous, especially given another person reported this and was directed to talk to the help team. I formally request a manager investigate this issue and also find out why it's not being addressed/fixed.
Note my initial report ticket was: [ ref:00D1UDqTT.5006e22lVEL:ref ]
Also note due to the insanely limited category requirement system enforced by the bug reporting system, it's impossible to properly report this problem through your bug reporting system. It was designed to fail. I'm still shaking my head at "the worst" support system I've witnessed in modern times. It's like you hired some high school kid to develop and run it. Utterly insane. The motto of Twitch should be: Failed Successfully.

Hi,
The banner shows up on channels to remind users about the event. Once dismissed on that channel, it doesn't show again on that very same channel. With that being said, what would be your proposed suitable alternative? Thank you.

Once closed on any channel, it's closed for all, or to add a second big X that prompts to disable for all. To currently require the user to disable the banner on every single channel they visit is simply insane, especially for those who want to channel surf. It's even harder on those running in dark mode at night - to have this ugly big bright yellow banner show up.
Basically your team is forcing marketing on all of your users and requiring them to disable the marketing for every single channel they visit. The current implementation is a form of media harassment and nothing less.
