This just makes sense. Not having it is an oversight in the User-Experience in my opinion. Attaching a comment when giving 10's or 100's of dollars makes sense from a gifting incentivization and even just a usability perspective because often streamers pause and have a look at chat trying to hunt down if the person said anything for why they gifted (if it happens at an unexpected time). And streamers would then have the ability to display it on scream, in the same way as bit messages of a certain value.
