webOS: add an option to have chat closed by default Can we have an option to have the chat closed by default when opening a stream ? When i watch on my TV i barely ever use chat, since it would be a pain ********** to type a message with my remote, also I dont really pay attention to the chat, so its really annoying to have to close the chat each time after opening a stream. It should be closed by default, as I think most ppl would prefer to have it closed on TV or there should be a setting or the last setting should be memorized.

Casting a collection should auto advance to next video When you are casting a video in a collection to chromecast, at the end of the video it will not auto advance to the next video in the collection. You have to stop casting, wait for the next video to start, and then re-cast the video.

OLED anti screen-burn feature Hello,
the twitch chat (and particularly the big purple "Sign in to chat / chat" button) is dangerous to all OLED TV, because it is basically static. It would be really nice to have a option to circumvent this. I see multiple solution for this:
Make an option to regularly change the twitch chat side
Option to remove the big, birght purple buttons
Chat as a transparent overlay over the stream (with option to change sides)
Really hope that there will be an option for this. Hate to use third-party twitch apps to prevent screen burn.

Sorting Followed Channels I think it could be really helpful to sort the Followed Channels by Recently Viewed instead of Date Followed, Old to New. Right not we have to scroll all the way to the end, past many creators who we infrequently watch. This would make the app much easier to use, especially when going to find VODs. Thanks!

Add white outline of user names When looking at chat on my TV the dark names can be very difficult to read on the dark background. Having the dark user names outlined with a light color would make them readable from a distance.

Make native app for Google and Amazon smart speakers I want to be able to listen to streams using set of powerfull voice commands on my Google Home Mini or Nest plus Amazon Echo devices with Alexa.
On top of that i wanna mannage my stream using voice commands to; place markers, host n raid channels, cast votes, mute chat, make a clip, kick viewers even.
Thirdly I wanna have ability to cast chat audibly using TTS sapi5 voices to the device, and create exceptions and replacment phrase lexicon to what is being read. Text to speach chat would be getting simultaniously played along with a streams audio.

Some people dont have the NEWEST tv so you cant use the smarttv to get the app. Please Twitch, fix this!2 votes -
Add login system to the smartv app I love the fact my LG smartv got your app, but i can't login my account on it, so when i watch my favored streamers by him i dont get stuff like channel points or can interact in chat in any form... It's sad because watching twitch on TV has became more fun than on PC to me, so... this is my feedback.

Scrubbing for Android TV The current Android TV only has fast forward/rewind buttons with no image preview. This is less functionality than a VCR. Scrubbing (with image previews) is a must have for any video player. At least add image previews to the fast forward/rewind

Audio lag There is to much audio lag compared to the video, it's not even fun to watch when the voice is so far ahead of the video

Family Mode on TV I leave my account logged in on the family smart TV. I'd like to block channels not marked family-friendly behind a PIN if possible. Even better, I'd like to consider certain games as not family friendly. We often see shooters marked family friendly.

Add a singlular Get User endpoint Currently the only way to get the currently logged in user it to parse an array from
https://api.twitch.tv/helix/usersThis is a request to add back an endpoint that only returns the single object of the current user. At paths such as:
https://api.twitch.tv/helix/user

Make "Non-Mod Chat Delay" available in smaller increments Twitch offers this feature: https://www.twitch.tv/yourchannel/dashboard/settings/moderation "Non-Mod Chat Delay", but currently it is only available for 2-second increments. I understand that this was probably designed with human moderation in mind, but this option is also very useful for automatic moderation with chat bots, but the delay would have to be lower. I ask for this setting to be available in 0.1-second increments so it can be set to e.g. 0.3 seconds or 0.5 seconds to prevent messages from showing up for brief moments before a bot times out the user.

More exposure to Creative and IRL categories Creative and IRL categories have been available, in some form, on Twitch for nearly 3 years now, ever since the Bob Ross series was marathoned. Yet, despite the existence of these categories, people are woefully unaware of the existence of any of them, except the biggest two: Just chatting, and Music and performing arts. The latter of which is usually overrun by 24/7 radio channels, while Just chatting is still a "catch-all" category for even content that should be categorized under the specific ones (eg. Travel and outdoors, etc).
It's not uncommon for people to comment along the lines of…
