[Feature] Stories on Twitch
Stories on Twitch is a new feature in the Twitch mobile app that helps you stay connected with your community when you’re not live. Stories let you share photos, clips, or freeform content using text, custom channel emotes, and backgrounds that expire in 48 hours. Creating stories is currently limited to Partners & Affiliates who have had at least one stream in the last 30 days. Streamers with at least 30 subscribers (including gift subs) will also have the option to create sub-only stories. Learn more about stories and current eligibility requirements in our Help Article: https://help.twitch.tv/s/article/stories. We'd love to learn what else you'd like to see so share with us your feedback.

Some people hate stories and would rather unfollow streamers and actually be able to watch the content the reason for going to twitch will be going to YouTube until you can hide stories or have the ability to remove them completely

I'm unfollowing every streamer who posts a story until twitch lets me disable this horrendous "feature" entirely.

Can we either have an option to turn stories off or not have it be the default when opening the app, please. I don’t want to open twitch directly into a stream or stories, I want a quiet home page to choose from.

I would like to disable stories as the default view, it's impossible to switch streams.

Give an option to turn off stories. Or at the very least make it so that you can select a home page that isn’t stories for when you open the app

Can you make a way to disable twich stories? Its very cumbersome and inconvenient. To leave the stream, at the very least make it is own section, that isnt in the homepage, or make it possible to go back to the stream as quickly as possible. If the little screen could be moved around when in mini mode of the app itself, and that it could pause when you get to the stories section.

It's annoying the stories notification setting is set to "sometimes" by default on ALL the channels you follow, so you get random unwanted notifications. It would make sense only on channels you have stream notifications enabled on, whom you may actually be interested in stories from. Also, when I disabled Stories in Twitch's push notifications settings I still got stories notifications so I had to disable the Stories notification category in Android's settings for the app.

Please let us upload videos to Stories or allow integration with the Vtube studio app. That would be so awesome for vtubers! Thank you!

While I'm glad the stories turned into icons instead of those previews that took up more screen space, I want the ability to opt out of seeing stories at all. I just want my following page to just show who's live and that's it.
Changing either the "Feed" or "Discover" tab to a "Social" tab and throwing it there would be ideal. Currently, even if there aren't any stories available I still have the "add to my story" icon which takes up the space that could be used to show those I follow who are live.
