1. Change the mobile layoit

   I find the new Twitch mobile homepage layout to be frustratingly overstimulating visually. It is also extremely difficult to find the channels that I follow in a timely manner.

2. New Mobile App

   I know Many Many people have been rightfully describing their issues and concerns with the latest Twitch Update and the more people that can accurately explain how the new UI is interfering with users ability to enjoy this platform. I would like to bring attention to how statements made in the Update Announcement Blog post are not representative of my personal experience, and would encourage other users to do the same.
   First I would like to say that the new UI is not intuitive for a first time user, I am still fairly new to Twitch as a platform, but the new Home page is incredibly daunting and even with the stream muted, immediately having an (often random) stream playing is distracting and makes it harder to process the rest of the apps pages. Previously I was able to open the app and immediately locate my followed Live accounts, after the update it took me several minutes even with the following button labeled to locate it because of how the white overlay appears. Even with the feed autoplay turned off (which I had to search through the settings to even find since its location was not specified by the blog and that option not described anywhere else) the amount of information in a transparent overlay on top of an unrelated image is distracting and makes processing what is happening in the app difficult, Especially since mobile should be optimized for a smaller screen.
   
   Second, having streams and clips being on the same page as the Following button means that I am often misclicking and/or accidentally swiping disrupting my ability to effectively use the mobile advantage of being able to quickly check information from my phone. A large advantage of having a mobile app I feel, besides being able to use the platform on the go, should be to engage with the platform in quick passing ways, in the blog they mention that the goal of this new home page is to do that, but instead I find myself clicking away from the stream I wanted to watch by accident when trying to join, as well as choosing to check who is live and stream schedule exclusively on desktop because the new UI makes finding that information harder instead of easier.
   Third, Swiping between streams is tiring, so many other apps require quick swiping, and part of the appeal of becoming a twitch user for me was having a place to watch and engage with Long Form content without that requirement. I can go to Snapchat, and TikTok and Instagram, and Linkden if I want to repeatedly swipe. Now with both Youtube and and Twitch pushing short form clips content it really makes me want to stop using these platforms all together.
   TL:DR The new UI is not intuitive to new users, the Home Page buttons being on a transparent overlay with live streams playing (unless manually paused) makes it especially difficult to use, the combination of the Discovery Feed with the Clips feed with the Following Button makes it difficult to quickly navigate to the desired category without inadvertently swiping to the wrong feed, and the changes to the Discovery Feed to emulate short form content social media apps dis-incentivizes me to use the App at best and actively pushes me to seek other forms of media.

5. add a easy to find continue watching section

   the idea is a simple one simply have a continue watching button or somthing to enable us to find streams we were watching before to the mobile app

6. Make the title of streams visible in the following tab please

   I'm not gonna talk about the new mobile changes because there are already a lot of people commenting on the changes. I personally agree 100% that the old app design was better for my viewer own experience.

   One thing I didn't saw though was the fact that I can't see the title of streams in my following tab. Most of the time when I see that a streamer that I follow is streaming I want to see what the stream is about. The category alone isn't enough to know this especially for "Just Chatting" or "Events".
   I usually don't want to click on the stream first to know what it is about.

   Also: Can I please have the list with VODs that I didn't watch to the end back? It was a nice feature that the mobile app had over the browser version.

8. Disable auto play

   PLEASE Disable auto play, I don't always have my earbuds in at work when browsing! and bring back the follow list by default!!
   There are too many clicks to get to the channels I want to watch!

10. Revenez a l’ancienne interface.

    Bonjour, je m’excuse tout d’abord si vous faite partie des développeurs.
    Serait-il possible de faire une option pour retrouver l’ancienne interface de twitch?
    La nouvelle est beacoup moins ergonomique pratique, et beaucoup plus moche.
    (Pour l’ecran d’accueil)
    Je ne peux voir uniquement en haut les chaînes que je suit, je ne peux également plus voir l’ensemble des chaine suivi de façon clair.
    Je ne peux plus laisser le live tourner sur la moitier de mon ecran faire quelques chose sur l’autre moitier puis revenir a twitch sans que sa me deconnecte du live.
    Le fond en noir sans que l’on puisse le modifier dans les options (même avec l’option sombre) c’est de la merde le fond blanc attaquait moins les yeux.
    Je ne peux également plus voir les catégories de jeu suivie (ex: battle brothers ou etc).
    A quoi bon mettre des catégories si on ne peux plus voir celle que l’on suit.
    C’est un début de liste des problèmes que j’ai pus rencontrer en moins d’une heure.
    Après en avoir discuté sur plusieurs tchat énormément de gens sont du meme avis.
    Serait-il donc possible de revenir a l’ancienne version ou au moins de faire une option pour rebasculer vers l’ancienne version ?

11. Allow for sorting of the followed channels side panel

    There are many things I do not agree with about the new twitch mobile update, but one specific change I think should be implemented immidiently is the ability to sort the home page followed channels side panel by viewer count or “recommended for you” based on personal preference. This is already in place on the twitch.tv browser followed channels side panel, and I think that it is a small but useful change to help people feel more in control of their viewing experience, as most people seem to feel the new update changes too much.

12. Stop pausing the stream

    Stop pausing the stream when I do anything. When I go into and out of PiP, when I navigate around the new boomer Tik Tok trash app, when I visit another page while PiP is active, the stream constantly pauses/stops for literally no reason at all. There should be no code in your codebase that automatically pauses or stops a stream, if I want the stream to pause or stop there is a button I can press, stop trying to be clever when your design team have 2 brain cells between them.

    When I use the pop out mini player to continue watching a stream in the corner of my screen, it then starts playing another random stream from this new “live feed” which I don’t want, AND I CANNOT MUTE OR PAUSE IT. so when I press play to continue using the pop out player it’s now playing two streams at the same time?! I have the stream audio and the live feed audio which I. CAN. NOT. MUTE. All I want to do is continue watching my current stream and browse my followed channels (which is now unnecessarily hard to find?)
    Please either revert/change this interface, it’s horrible!!

14. Twitch app update version 17.6 on iOS broke Stream Chat. Fix it now please.

    BUG REPORT. Installing Twitch app update version 17.6 broke Stream Chat and requires immediate fixing in order to be fully functional.
    THE BUG: A user can type and "send" chat messages that show up on the Twitch app's interface, but they do NOT EVER actually go to the Stream Chat. They don't show up. No one at all sees them.
    ATTEMPTS TO WORKAROUND: I found no workarounds on iOS. I've DELETED the app, rebooted the iOS device, REINSTALLED the Twitch app. The result is exactly the same. I've also made sure it's specifically an app problem and not an overall Twitch problem. Using Twitch via web browser works as normal. It's specifically the app at fault. This bug started specifically with version 17.6 of the Twitch app for iOS.
    MY HARDWARE: iPhone 13 with iOS 17.2.1, the most current version.
    IDEA: Fix this now please. Otherwise, I can't use the app. No chat means no point in bothering with the Twitch app.

16. Mobile App

    Please improve the interface of the mobile app. Every time I rotate my phone into theater mode, the app becomes inoperable. It gets really annoying to have to force close the app every time I do this.

17. Allow viewers to react with channels own emotes

    It would be really nice to be able to react with a channels own emotes to their stories. If there's concern about the amount of space this UI would take, let the creator pre-select which emotes are enabled for this.
    Side note, clips being paused while reacting is quite annoying, especially since they don't autoplay afterwards.

18. Date/timestamp for whisper

    Can we get a date/timestamp in the whisper chat function?

    Not sure how we don't have this yet!

    Especially for an ongoing chat you might not know what day a message is from

19. More mod options on mobile

    Let mods have all the necessities on mobile like on pc because it’s hard for us to mod channels when we are not available to a PC
