New Twitch Mobile Layout Hey, we just received a new update that changes the mobile dashboard when you’re viewing! I think I understood the intent, trying to make it look more like tiktok. However, this is VERY user unfriendly - I much preferred the old layout where you aren’t immediately bombarded by a stream already running, and could instead browse your live streams. Overlay Please remove the bits/sub button overlay on mobile (horizontal, no chat). Or at least give the option to remove! It doesn’t even fade away- it’s just annoying and gets in the way of what I’m trying to watch.

Remove the UI elements over fullscreen landscape video. When I’m watching a stream in fullscreen landscape I do not want random UI elements covering the screen with no option to disable it. Do you genuinely consider channel points that important you need a bright green icon over my stream? You’ve already ruined the chat experience in landscape now you’ve went and ruined the viewing experience as well.

UI Design I don’t know what gen z intern made the decision to have it be TikTok 2.0 but it does NOT work for a platform like Twitch. You’re a LONG FORM platform, not a short form like Tiktok and Instagram reels. I’m not on twitch to watch a minute of a stream, I’m here to watch it for hours. The UI design makes that feel like I have to keep scrolling through streams that I don’t care about.
Not only that but also why the heck do I not know what the stream title is of the streamers I do follow?…

Stories / featured clips Please give the viewers the option to turn off stories & featured clips , or allow us to choose where they show up. It is incredibly frustrating to have to scroll down the screen while everything loads just to get to the past broadcast or whatever it is I’m looking for below these two new features. Some of us just want a minimal as possible experience on the mobile app (where I primarily watch twitch) and this really hinders that experience.

Give option to disable chat overlay An option to disable the chat overlay on mobile is necessary. While some might like the ability to overlay chat on mobile, not giving an option to disable it is lazy at best and experience ruining at worst. For those that like it the options to move it where desired is great, but not giving any option to disable it leaves everyone else stuck with a feature we didn’t want or ask for.

Phone app language setting Hey everyone,
someone who has their entire phone in English (since most stuff is English regardless, and others can be set), think the twitch app should really have the option to have the app in a specified language. It's great twitch tries to translate, but for me it's really uncomfortable to see the app in my mother language.

Homepage Should Focus on the People We Follow!! As the title says: with this new redesign, you have to click a little button on the top-left to see the people you follow? Your HOMEpage, should be the people you decided to bring into your "home", not some random people you don't know or want to watch. This is an awful change. Please go back our homepage focusing on the people we follow. Why not just give us the option to customize our homepage instead of shoving things down our throat?

Update Stop updating the app every other day/every single day. Very annoying when the app performs horribly and the interface is bad. What is being updated, is it updating the insufferable ads to newer insufferable ads?? Get it together and stop being greedy - twitch could have been great but its gone downhill. Most of your staff behaves like furries, too. Just stop.

Remove icons on no chat mode for mobile Remove the icons that are permanently on screen when in no chat mode on mobile, it covers half the screen.

The new app on Android is awful. I absolutely despise the new version of the app that my phone updated to yesterday. It's not at all easy to navigate and the fact you keep forcing a random stream on us, even though it may be someone we follow is super annoying. There was nothing wrong with the older version. Stop trying to make it like a social media site, it's terrible. You need to give us an option to use an older version without having to go through a third party.

So many people hate it and I refuse to use the Twitch app again until I can have an actually good experience again.
