[iPad] Please Add Chat Overlay Mode to the iPad App On the iPhone version of the Twitch app, there is a Chat Overlay option that lets viewers watch streams in full-screen (landscape) mode while still seeing and sending chat messages, and earning channel points.
On the iPad version, this option is missing. Right now, you can only:
1. Hide the chat completely to go full-screen, or
2. Use the side column view, which makes the video smaller.Please add the Chat Overlay mode to the iPad app as well.

THE SEARCH BAR IS A BAD USER EXPERIENCE The current search bar is barely functional for it’s intended purpose. At the moment, you need to type in what you are searching for VERBATIM otherwise nothing useful comes up. The autocomplete does not find what you are looking for once a single character is incorrect, not just letters. For example, some categories have dashes (“-“) or slashes (“/“) in their titles and typing without will yield quite impressively 0 relevant results. I feel like the system should be smart enough to know what I am looking for and when it’s is typed slightly incorrectly I expect to see it…

Voice Chat Lobby Private Chat Room for people that sub up that would like to interact with their favorite streamers on a more closer level. Streamers won’t have to ask people to sub and they won’t be just talking and reading off comments, add more to content and brings the energy up as well.

Option to Separate Game Audio from Streamer Voice for Viewers (Mobile & Web) As a long-time Twitch viewer who suffers from chronic ear sensitivity and inflammation, I’ve been struggling for over four years with high game audio in streams — especially in shooter games like PUBG. Often, the loud game sounds overpower the streamer’s voice, making it very difficult to understand what they’re saying.
I frequently ask streamers to lower their game volume, but I understand this affects their experience and other viewers’ enjoyment. Some streamers even feel frustrated by the repeated requests.
I’m suggesting that Twitch adds a viewer-side audio control feature, similar to Discord, where I can separately adjust the game…

Reccommend affiliates There should be more exposure for affiliates, I’ve seen videos that say it’s a death sentence to become one and that your channel won’t grow if you accept affiliate, make an affiliate section on twitch and recommended small streamers

Able to pin messages. Please find a way to allow Mods that are using a mobile device the ability to pin messages. This can only be done from PC at the moment.

Disable mobile data option, Wi-Fi only I'd like the option to disable the usage of mobile data entirely. Not everyone has unlimited data and my Wi-Fi occasionally disconnects then twitch eats all my data... Very expensive very fast. An option to limit twitch to only use WiFi network and prevent cellular data entirely would be very nice.

Center Landscape Video on Android Please center the video on the screen when watching landscape on Android Mobile (Pixel 9 XL Pro is my experience). If you pinch to fill for example the whole left side of the screen is not used.

Let live notifs differ per device I love that we can get notifications for when specific channels go live. I have my faves enabled on pc, but I have notifications off for my phone to limit distractions. But there are one or two channels that I’d drop what I’m doing to tune in. It sucks to come home and realize that I missed a rare stream. I’d love if notifications were customizable for different devices, rather than synced for the whole account.

The app needs to have a translate function to help all us twitch users be able to understand each other sometimes other users speak differe. Imagine watching your favorite streamer and your chattering with other users who are watching the same stream and suddenly a person from another country comes into the stream and starts typing in another language. Yes most streamers say English only in there streams but some speak only one language that’s not English and so do their users. So I’d like to see twitch either add a translation software added to the app and also the ability to put on subtitles from the user interface even if the streamer doesn’t have the ability to do so on their end while streaming.…

Aesthetics: More customization in your account that would give you options like betterttv.
UI: While streaming on mobile you should be able to use an overlay and have more switchboard options. If you are using an outside app for chat like Streamlabs you can use all the options you can use on desktop.
Branding: Add an option for clips to include audio from other sources and enable more editing options.
