Option to disable video previews in the "Following" list
Please add the option to disable the video previews in the list of followed channels (added in a recent update). This "feature" only impedes my ability to browse my LONG list of followed channels, making the process of seeing who is online much more difficult and time-consuming. To be clear, I want text only, the way the list used to be. Please.
Upon updating the app, my immediate reaction was "this is annoying, I hate it; where is the option to revert this change?" However, combing through the options for the app does not appear to offer this option. Why are we not able to customize the app for personalized user experience?

Why am I being forced to watch a random stream when I'm browsing a game category?? Why is it taking 90% of my screen when I didn't ask for it or click it? FFS stop forcing us and intruding on our right to watch what we want.
"is there a fix for this? the site is literally un useable as it is

You can disable the preview in settings, don't remember where exactly, but you can set the "autoplay" to "never". But yes, Twitch made a bad mistake like they always do!

Please make this more customizable, i detest having to scroll a minute before I get to less popular streamers.

I just got this update today and 100% agree, for many reasons. I loved the thumbnail view so I could quickly see who is all live. Now all I can essentially see is the stream with the most viewers. There’s no option to change it back, no option to favorite a channel, no option to sort. It ruined the mobile experience.

The fact that there are no custom sorting options for the channel list is bad enough (i.e. no favorites or manual sorting), but now I have to scroll 5x as much to reach lower viewer count streams. This UI change is so bad for discoverability and viewer retention for smaller streams. At least give us display options like switching between thumbnails/details/etc in Windows Explorer.

I'm using a S10 which isn't THAT old and has a plenty large mobile screen. however. the new preview feature is displaying videos LARGER than my total screen size. I have to scroll way too far to get to the next available channel and when I actually click on a stream to watch, the video has to shrink to fit my phone screen.
this is a failure on the integration side of things with the video preview sizing AND on the user control side of things with the original comment about not having an option to disable video preview or opt out
I'm usually one to give new updates a fair chance and allow myself time to adjust but this is a systemic failure I will never be able to justify

I second this, because it now overemphasizes larger streamers, even though I prefer to watch other streamers. The alternative would be for me to unfollow these larger streamers altogether in order to get streamers I watch more frequently to the top, which is something I rather not do.

The most recent update to the twitch mobile app changed the look of the Following Tab. Before the following list was compressed with small thumbnail previews so I could see who is live at a quick glance, however now the update changed the thumbnails to be so big that I have to scroll through a long list of live channels before deciding who I want to watch. Please revert this change or add a customization option so that we can decide how we want the following tab to look.
