3. Organize the main screen to see followed streams first and clearly at the top

   Recently changed parts of the mobile app have pushed “Your Live Channels” further down the screen upon opening the app. A large oddly sized ad banner at takes up half of the screen, pushing the content further down, and the new stories being at the top right under the large ad banner leaves almost no room for the live channels to show until scrolling far enough to see them all like before. It causes confusion on wether followed channels are live, and how many are live at a glance since its hidden down below a large ad banner and the “Stories” section. Depending on if followed channels have made any, recently featured clips and/or highlights also take up space and push live channels further down, though this depends since it isn’t always in the same spot and isn’t appearing every time the app is opened.
   Move “Stories” somewhere below “Your Live Channels” or move them to another spot in the app so we can still access stories easily if wanted, without pushing access to other content out of the way. Please consider prioritizing followed live streams to be the most easily and first accessible content at the top of the screen upon opening the mobile app.
   It’s a similar issue on an iPad, at least held horizontally, the large ad banner at the top takes up more screen space on the iPad, and pushes live followed channels further from view despite how much more screen space an iPad has over an iPhone the live channels are mostly hidden unless scrolled down to. Please find a better way to organize the main screen of the app on an iPad to avoid wasting so much space on the screen and having live channels, continue watching, followed channels, and stories from hiding each other while competing for space on the screen. It should be made more convenient and easy to find what is needed when first opening the app without the need to scroll immediately to see any of the content. Prioritize live channels to show up at the top without other things hiding them from view before scrolling.

4. Stream Summary Stats Bug

   Stream Summary tab on Mobile is bugged to where the most recent stream’s analytics is bugged and results do not load, second-most recent stream’s analytics DOES load, and it’s inconsistent from there on.

6. Most recent “Stream Summary” does not load on iOS

   The most recent “Stream Summary” no longer loads in the iOS app. Past summaries load/display, but the most recent just shows a spinning circle and no content.

   When subsequent streams are completed, the previously non-loading summary will then display and the summary for the (new) latest stream will be the one with the spinning circle.

7. BUG REPORT!!!

   Every time I go to a streamers chat, or even look in the search bar for another channel, after about two minutes of running the mobile app, the app will freeze and then crash. Even when I close the app out of my background, and completely restart it, still the same thing. Please fix.!!

8. Enough of these annoying, greedy ads

   I rarely use this app, but the amount of ads I’ve been getting lately has been invasive and annoying. I don’t understand why streamers can’t have full control of ad choices which results in this site doing everything they can to annoy viewers as much as possible with not 2, not 3, but 9 ADS! What purpose do these ads have when creators or moderators can’t control the amount of ads that could ruin the enjoyment of viewers? It’s like Twitch is begging to be sued at this point since there nothing you could do to avoid them except for paying Amazon just to watch a few of your favourite streamers ad free. There’s no one to blame but Twitch for their own downfall.

9. Stream Randomly Crashes App

   Re: Twitch iOS App v17.0

   I have encountered app completely crashing back to iOS Home Screen multiple times and app needing to be reloaded to continue watching stream after most recent update.

   I have also had to previously report via stream that entire screen (not just video) will suddenly freeze while still hearing audio from stream, and when exiting app; audio for stream will continue to play outside of app for how ever long stream was previously buffered by app.

   Note: Issue has occurred using an iPhone 8 Plus 256GB (iOS 16.7.2) and not due to low battery power, as iPhone connected via mains power with battery fully charged at 100%.

   UPDATE

   Short-Term Workaround:
   »Log out and exit app.
   »Completely delete Twitch iOS app from iPhone.
   »Download Twitch app again via iTunes AppStore.
   »Open Twitch app and Sign-in again.

   Following the above steps resets certain functions cached by app back to default and welcomes you back as new sign-in etc.

   In my case, it has temporarily resolved the issue, and then afterwards the new Twitch app will completely freeze/crash again when simply trying to type in chat.

   Just rollback your app, Twitch, and start again, by adding new features one-at-a-time to track how bugs occur.

    If I start chatting get back to stream and will continue with chatting the whole app freezes only audio will continue and no chat interactions are possible

17. Creator Dashboard is not showing the analysis of last stream

    Since a few updates the analysis tab in the creator dashboard doesn’t show the summary of the last stream. For the stream before the last one it works fine. It had been working before so please check it out. I’m running several iPhones and one iPad on latest iOS 17.

19. Currently unable to comment

    When watching on IOS mobile, I am currently unable to comment when switching from full screen to chat mode. It has been this way for 3 days and I’ve seen numerous others notate this same issue. I want to bring as much attention to this as possible as it is basically unusable atm.

20. Bug: iOS app freezes when clicking chat box

    The iOS app has recently been freezing whenever I click on the chat box while watching a stream. The audio continues to come through, even when I swipe out of the app to my Home Screen, and does not fix until I hard quit out of the app. This problem has only been happening on my iPad Pro, app on my iPhone 14 works fine
