While watching portrait or landscape mobile stream, Live Notification pop up interferes with normal text input functions When the notification pops up, it covers the text input box and the (view) link is in the same spot as delete on keyboard and “send” on the input text box, and (view) can be too easily pressed and then moved away from the stream we are watching and we also lose the text we were typing. It is also then difficult to return to the original stream we were in.
Suggested improvements:
* move the live notification badge to just under the streamer video in portrait mode, or upper left corner slide-in from side or drop down, with a…3 votes -
Overlay button ( On - Off ) Please add a button for the overlay on screen ( On - Off ) Button .. the overlay is so annoying on phone it must be optional not a must for the users, Like for me personally I prefer watching on full screen without any distractions, I can’t enjoy the streams anymore on phone from the overlay on screen ( Chat, Bits, etc. )

Advertisment timing/too many ads Usually whenever i pressed on some streamers, the advertisment always coming out on the best part/or interested part in the stream. The following solution for it is: either make it shorter like 10 or less. Or just rotate it whenever the stream ends his/her stream. I always missed the interesting parts due the too many ads to be honest and even longer ads which is really annoying. Please look at the advertisments durations and the time it showed up. More options for mobile chat overlay I like the new chat overlay when using the app on iOS in landscape mode, however, it needs more options to improve usability.
Currently, only the last message is displayed and disappears within 3 seconds. This means I need to be constantly watching to catch what is said, which is not how I tend to use Twitch on mobile.
Including three additional settings options would lead to more flexible usability:
1) Number of chat messages and/or lines of chat to be displayed simultaneously
2) Length of time messages are displayed before disappearing, with the option to have them not disappear…4 votes -
After the last update, sometimes after minimizing the stream screen (which should go to the corner), it disappears, leaving only the audio. Just for your awareness of the bug.

Give option to disable chat overlay An option to disable the chat overlay on mobile is necessary. While some might like the ability to overlay chat on mobile, not giving an option to disable it is lazy at best and experience ruining at worst. For those that like it the options to move it where desired is great, but not giving any option to disable it leaves everyone else stuck with a feature we didn’t want or ask for.

Bug report There is a strange glitch going in in chat where posting more than one emote in a message causes something strange to happen. The message doesn’t get posted, words or emotes get eaten up, and it makes strange symbols that don’t appear anywhere else. This is the weirdest bug I’ve ever seen with this platform and it seems like a very fatal flaw when emote spamming is a very easy way go show your support for a streamer.

Mobile app improvements The mobile app sucks never lets you perform any actions such as unfollowing someone, blocking a user, claiming channel points, redeeming channel points, updating settings, etc. It crashes frequently as well.
Admin audit: Removed unnecessary, negative commentary.

Chromecast Drop Progress When Chromecasting Twitch to my TV, it doesn’t track my progress for drops, which would be helpful in trying to unlock things while seeing the stream on the big screen.

Organize Followed Streamers A way to organize followed streamers by categories, favorites, or however a person wishes would make the Twitch app so much easier to use. This especially applies to channels that are live. I follow 300 channels, 30-40 are live at any given time, but I only watch 10-15 consistently. I want to be able to see those without the clutter of the other B or C list channels on my list.

Wetten einstellen und auflösen auf Mobile. Die Idee wäre, dass entweder bei den 3 Punkten eine weitere Option dazu kommt in der man eine Wette erstellen kann. Dann popt ein Fenster auf in dem man die Wette eingeben kann wie am Pc. Oder man bei den Kanalpunkten ein Button bekommt der oberhalb der Kanalbelohnungn ist, und man da die Wette einstellen kann. Dort findet man die Wette sonst auch auf.

revert pop-up player please the new pop-up player or picture in picture mode is really annoying because if you missclick a channel and want to switch quickly it won't let you until the player fully loads, plus you get stuck if your internet is slow or the channel is offline.If your internet is slow you literally have to restart the app. If you want to leave a channel you always have to go into picture in picture mode which doesn't work if the player's not fully loaded.
I don't really understand what the update did but make it annoying/worse. Think it was updated maybe…

iOS widget to monitor my own stream status Have a home and/or lock screen widget that allows monitoring my active stream. Especially useful for IRL Streaming to a relay (not going thru twitch app itself)

Picture-in-picture Unable to minimize the player in the app without the player automatically going to picture-in-picture mode.
I have “start PiP automatically” DISABLED in my iOS settings.
Used to work like: when a stream is open normally, you could swipe down and the stream would go to a mini-player at the bottom of the screen.
Now: doing the same thing transitions the player to picture-in-picture, which I do not want.
Please resolve by reverting back to the previous functionality, or adding a setting to let the user choose which functionality they prefer.9 votes
