Overlay button ( On - Off )
Please add a button for the overlay on screen ( On - Off ) Button .. the overlay is so annoying on phone it must be optional not a must for the users, Like for me personally I prefer watching on full screen without any distractions, I can’t enjoy the streams anymore on phone from the overlay on screen ( Chat, Bits, etc. )

The overlay is very annoying when I just want to watch a stream in full screen without engaging with the stream. Not having a way to disable the overlay buttons is a weird design option and should be changed. If I want to use the buttons I can enable the chat overlay, but if I disable the chat overlay the buttons are still there, blocking and distracting from the content I want to enjoy.

This showed up at the end of 2025, people complained everywhere and it was removed, now it’s back? If we’re gonna be used to test experimental features please give an option to turn it off, it ruins the landscape viewing experience and makes me want to uninstall the app and not watch on mobile / watch on other platforms.

I also like watching fullscreen. If i wanted to click sub or bits or stuff i would just open chat. Why does it have to been on screen and in the way when im fullscreen? Thats terrible design. It just gets in the way.

Users can now customize the double tap shortcut to switch between any two chat modes in landscape or keep all three in rotation. To change this setting, go to the options menu when watching in the overlay or full screen by tapping the video player.
