I had the thought because I and I know plenty others will put a stream on in the background while doing other things. And as I was switching audio devices I had this idea.

Have a twitch application for amazon echos/dot, to listen to a streams audio. There would need to be other features like notifying you when a streamer is live down the line. But be able to say alexa open twitch... go to (name)... and she will give you a list of possible streamers you meant it sounds like others live, or say list after name to force a list to select which streamer you want to listen to, by saying which # it was in the list.

This will let people easily go to other rooms with amazon devices and listen to streams. You could have different streams on with multiple devices. Or if people just want to listen to a streamer, they can just tell alexa quickly. If you have notifications on, she can announce when a streamer is live and respond to her to open up that stream. Ads wont be a problem, radio has done ads this way for decades. Arguably, ads would probably be less annoying on an alexa/radio than on pc
