New console update is not user friendly
Not being able to chat on console is an issue. I like the idea of the phone chat option but keep it just that; an option.
Not being able to tab full screen and chat using Square button is frustrating. Having to search for full screen and chat tab is frustrating.
Square no longer has an input command.
New home page seems cluttered and messy compared with previous version.
In summary, simple is better and being able utilize controller to tab fullscreen and to chat worked just fine in the previous version.
I do thank you for removing the double ad issue on PS5.
At times of ads, the same ad would be played twice which was incredibly frustrating. I don't mind watching ads in streams I'm not subscribed to but that was crazy.

New playstation version has some issues
The UI overlay doesn't disappear, sometimes it gets stuck over the stream for a few minutes... And there's no button to make the overlay disappear...
The qr code for chat is very annoying... You must have a phone next to you to chat.The O button takes you out of the stream... Instead of just "back" in menus.
And my followed streamers are now in a 2nd tab instead of the main front page...
The old version was muchhh better feels like the people who changed the UX Don't use PS5s :(

Please just let me talk in chat on console. I have a better mental state if it's like it was. I can take typing in emotes that I won't see inorder to chat on console, Not being able to chat on console is a 100000 % anti-user decision and I almost hate the person who came up with it. It almost seems like they think less of us as people rather than numbers your overlords react to. I can not stress how much I only hate the new twitch console app MAILY BECAUSE OF NOT BEING ABLE TO TALK WITH TWITCH CHAT. Please let me speak in twitch chat on console. WHY would I want to open up the phone app unless I already am doing something else. Which is MY PERSONAL BUSINESS. YOU all have no respect for your personal mental health so why should you care about other people mental health and/or wellbeing.

If you want to improve the console based experience earth add 7tv or BTTV into the app or just understand that we understand that our personal experience is different from other people's experience and Double adds were a necessary evil in keeping the order of things. Give the content creators there money or go back to what we had and figure out the legality of it later.

This is a thing very few of us will talk about but I feel it necessary. I don't mind the necessary clutter of the new app and how it makes it feel like a bootleg PC that being "personal computer" version of the actual app, but it now forces you to chat VIA whatever messenger your phone has available. In which is totally defeating the purpose of the console app in general. Like the double adds were okay AS LONG as the content creators were getting their fair share. I do NOT know what caused this but it personally has to be one of the most depressing things to happen to me personally. Why keep something around if you don't like it?
