It is so stupid that the conversation QR code on my XBox X and Xbox one S only enable chat on my phone.

I have a keyboard, I listen streamer troughout my sound system which it is optically cable.

Join conversation with QR code is so garbage, all the time the stream stop, I have to restart the stream and only chat from my phone... it us so inconvenient...

If I want to use twitch.tv on my phone , I ll Use my phone app,

Almost all the time , I only use my Xbox one s or Xbox X, that update is ******* me off,

Twitch app on Xbox should be like the android Twitch app

Otherwise, just revert to the old version

Revert,revert,revert,revert,revert to the old version.This **** has been said since update,nobody says anything from twitch.Console’s customer’s are not happy with this twitch version.We been posting in here our concerns,we are not taken seriously,we did not have received a response from twitch.

This update has been up for to long. We have voted for weeks with no word from twitch about it. They refuse to respond on twitter. I suggest we make them see we are displeased and take to twitter. #Revert4Console we must not be ignored

Does watching with the new app qualify the viewer for drops and loot? I don’t believe it qualifies the viewer for any random gifted subs either since you are not able to chat. The viewer would need to use a different device to chat?

Terrible terrible terrible update, if it's not reverted I will unsubscribing from all channels and deleting twitch. Not even a thought what so ever for hard time and energy bills going up, am I supposed to be charging my phone 24/7 now because I need it too work with but also now I need when I'm at home relaxing? Twitch staff really are the worst

This update is atrocious and should be reverted immediaetly. Everything is a downgrade especially the UI. Navigating it feels clunky and unintuitive now.

This update hit my PS5 today and it’s horrible. I might as well watch from my cell phone if I have to have it open to utilize the chat option. This is going to make people that are limited on their internet have to use even more of their data just to be able to engage with creators and their communities. Consoles should be reverted back to the old option. There was no problem with it. You could chat actively, use emotes properly, even see if your friends were watching the same creator with you (since y’all took that option away last year that was super beneficial for being more involved w our friends and what we are watching together). The Home Screen looks funky and clunky and just not pleasing to the eye as it previously did. Like, why?!!!? What were y’all thinking with these changes??

Same for PS. This is ridiculous go-to-market failure

This update makes it impossible to do anything. You accidentally press the back button? Restart. Try to open a recently watched video and for some reason can't get it to fast forward or rewind? Restarts the whole thing. It's just not good...

I’m just gonna take a break from Twitch. I watched on Xbox mostly and now it’s garbage. Let me know when they fix this garbage. For now I will give up. It feels like we are getting a Twitter experience. Did Elon buy it.

It makes it very difficult to be in a community. Which is what Twitch is supposed to be it's a gaming community. Yet no one is listening to the complaints of the community. No one is happy with the update clearly. If people can't chat with us anymore they will leave our channels. And it will hurt the community that each streamer has created!

It’s objectively bad. There was a reddit poster, who probably works for twitch, that said it was to make all the apps that would be viewed on a tv the same build. Which puts powerful gaming consoles in the same boat as infinitely less capable firesticks. Why? Cost cutting? Or is somebody really that dumb to think it was an improvement?

Not everyone has 2 devices for just chatting purposes. We definitely don’t need, or want the overstimulation of two devices. Especially running the same exact thing! Just for one to be a texting device. I shouldn’t have to pull out all of my electronics just to enjoy a community I once felt a part of. Please let a chat again. It’s almost funny we even have to have this petition in the first place.

This new update on PS5 is garbage. I think this would be a perfect time to use the saying “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”. Literally reverting this update would be an update to this hot mess.

This post was created dec 17th 2022 that should scare you idk why but ps5 update came late 2 days ago for me.. so either we make the hashtag strong on twitter or the twitch experience on console is done majority don’t want to use their phones and scan QR codes to chat

Please reverse the update on ps5 its really sad we cant chat with the ps5... and we cant see the chat on the vod too..
