Revert the twitch app update for xbox series
Change the app back to how it use to be on xbox series. It updated and it's horrible. Had to relog in. You have to scan a qr code to chat which is ridiculous. The categories are randomly scattered and in no order which you can't change. Categories and streams are surround by a blinding white box now and everything seems jumbled together. I swear a room full of 3 year Olds designed this new layout. NOTHING about it is better.

The new UI is some of the worst I have ever seen, like it's not even controller friendly because I'm having such an issue just trying to get to my favorite streamer, I press the Chat button and scam the QR then it kicks me out of the stream, I have to use my phone to chat no thanks I already use it well streaming I don't want to use it to talk to my favorite steamer also, It slow, laggy, and just a pain to use in general...
I'm fine with the Xbox streaming moving, I been using it before they forced me to use it but it was nice to have the option.
I rate this new update 0/10 because it's that bad.

This user interface is terrible. I don't even have my recently watched anymore. There is so many more steps to getting to my streams for no reason. Recent broadcasts suddenly has a lot less videos available. Please take this back. It's really unpleasant.

Two massive issues:
1. I listen to twitch via earbuds in my wireless controller. With the new update, the controller turns off after every 15 minutes because Xbox doesn't recognize that it's being used for audio. This is a mistake with the development of the app and was not an issue with the old app.
2. The inability to chat on Xbox is a huge hassle. What's the point of subscribing to channels if you can't use the emotes on the app? I just want to be able to chat and interact again. PLEASE fix ASAP
Oh and
3. There seems to be a bigger delay than ever. I'm seeing chat react to things before they happen... -

The recent change to the Xbox/PS app is ******* horrible. The stream delay increased like tenfold and REMOVING features (especially something as essential as chatting) is inexcusable. The app is now UTTERLLY UNUSABLE because of the MASSIVE delay. I would rather watch my streams on a ******* 1"x1" screen instead of my TV than use this ****.

This is so screwed up. It is now Late January 2023, and my Xbox just updated the app, and is the same. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO HAVE XBOX AND MOBILE APPS BOTH OPEN JUST TO TALK IN CHAT! FIX YOU MISTAKE TWITCH

From what I read different forums this is a big issue.. And a lot of people have said that they are uninstalling twitch from the console. Because they feel like they can do nothing just sit there and watch no longer interact with the favorite streamers. Before this new feature I would use this app almost on a regular daily basis. The app was a solid 10 prior. I do like the bio being added so that is great. Just want CHAT back PLEASE!!

Go back to the old version of Twitch app on the Xbox. It's extremely annoying as a viewer and a mod of several channels and a streamer as well. Why would I want to watch on my phone and Xbox the same channel on two devices just to interact with chat? Simple answer is I don't I want to use each device independently. I want to be able to watch my Xbox app and interact with it the same as I did with the old version. Epic fail on the new version when you took the direct chat away on Xbox. Why mess with things that weren't broken? Please let's go back to the old app for this feature thank you!

Still not working on console, buffering every 3 seconds and after one minute it just sends an error. Fix this now or lose me.

I liked being able to chat on console .Was easier on my eyes on the big screen and I could still use mobile app to cheer bits and gift subs but not have to stare at lil screen all the time.

The ui is absolutely terrable half the time you won't even know what you have selected, example; you'll unfollow or get the enter chat qr code when trying to change your resolution but even if you guesed right there's no way of knowing what resolution is selected already, most of all the ui is that ********

On top of it all, it's now unable to be used with a media remote. So something passive like browsing twitch and using the remote to quickly get it started is now totally broken. Don't know how anyone thought this through and got it approved.

Removing it from the xbox was the most inconvenient thing that could have been done. Next your guna remove it from mobile so we have to buy PCs just to chat.

The new chat setup sucks, and one of the channels i liked to watch just shows an error message whenever i try to watch it.

It’s slower, laggier, choppier. You can’t even use chat anymore???? Also, has a worse delay than mobile now. Completely ruined the xbox app, might as well just use the mobile version. oh and the UI looks terrible too now.

It’s simple. Add a chat log to the Xbox. Mixer had it, so there’s no excuse. Asking Xbox players to look away from their TV to their phone or tablet or computer to see what’s going on in chat is ridiculous.
