Improve "view my subscriptions list" permissions dialog The "This extension can view my subscriptions list." toggle, (in Manage Extension Permissions) doesn't do a check to see if the channel that the extension is installed upon, is eligible for Subscriptions at all.
Wording should/could be changed to prevent broadcasters of type BLANK (as apposed to affiliate/partner), becoming confused.
As they'll click the toggle, run the oAuth dialog and then the toggle is still off.
On hitting the toggle, change the popup response from:
"You have successfully authorized this extension to view your subscriber list!"
To
"You have successfully authorized this extension to view your subscriber list! But you…

Improve Extension configuration design The current configuration page has a lot of empty space and on laptops, we lose half of the screen space instead of having a nice place to configure an extension
See: https://discuss.dev.twitch.tv/t/improve-extension-configuration-page-for-smaller-screens/20194/3With the new design of the dashboard, Twitch introduced a new layout for the extension page.
https://imgur.com/a/0SYGWi5It would be logical and great to have the configuration popup aligned to this design so we can have more space on the configuration page

Signed Transaction Receipt missing from Bit Transactions API On the new Helix endpoint, https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/api/reference/#get-extension-transactions and therefor https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/api/webhooks-reference/#topic-extension-transaction-created the signed receipt that comes with onTransactionComplete from the JS Helper is missing. In order to audit and avoid man in the middle attacks, a signed JWT that can only be verified with the client secret should be sent on all endpoints sending monetary transaction data.

Standardize Transaction Timestamp in Bits Transaction JWT The given JWT representing the transatction receipt contains a time field that is stringified version of the Golang time object. Parsing in this format is significantly harder than a ISO standard format.

Live Activated Channels w/ Extension Webhook There should be a Live Activated Channels with Extensions webhook to get updates once a channel w/ the Extension goes live- similar to the Stream Changed webhook, this would reduce the amount of polling needed.

Let approved multi-view apps earn channel points and watch streaks for the signed-in viewer The embedded player counts as a view, but signed-in viewers earn no channel points or watch streaks through it. Viewers who watch events, tournaments or group streams in a multi-view have to open extra twitch.tv tabs just to keep their streaks.
Proposal: an opt-in option for apps Twitch approves, only for the signed-in viewer, with limits Twitch sets (number of channels, visible player, "still watching?" checks) and the right to revoke access.

Provide an API to return available Power Ups Similar to "Get Content Classification Labels" for returning CCL's that are available. Since Power Ups are common across all of twitch an API to obtain the current site wide power ups rather than hard coding an enum will be of use to tool developers

Enable TLS 1.3 for id.twitch.tv Currently, almost all of the endpoints that are involved in EventSub as well as twitch.tv have TLS 1.3 support except for id.twitch.tv . For applications with restrictions on older TLS, this becomes a blocker. My application is currently utilizing a library with tls 1.3 only which seems to be failing on id.twitch.tv (i believe twitch sends a hello packet and terminates the connection to downgrade it).

Delete Multiple Subscriptions in one call The DELETE EventSub Subscription https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/api/reference#delete-eventsub-subscription takes a single ID, and nothing else (aside from auth etc). I propose allowing multiple IDs to be passed in for a single call, for example id=<id1>&id=<id2>&id=<id3> - potentially up to 100 like other APIs.
This would then unsubscribe from all of the IDs, assuming they pass all the normal auth checks etc.
Currently it takes us 15 calls to unsubscribe from all the subscriptions that we are 'done with', adding up to around 3.5 seconds of time spent round tripping the calls. It seems like there would be a lot of value in making…

Switch between Broadcaster/Viewer/Moderator/Anonymous Currently, testing extension UI across different user roles (Broadcaster, Moderator, Subscriber, Viewer, Anonymous) is a high-friction process that often requires coordinating with other users or managing multiple browser profiles. This inefficient feedback loop leads to avoidable production bugs.
I propose an "Extension Simulation Mode" within the developer dashboard that allows us to:
Role-Toggle: Instantly switch the Extension environment view between Broadcaster, Moderator, Viewer, and Anonymous roles.
State Simulation: Toggle common state-dependent scenarios, such as subscription status or mobile/desktop viewport layouts.
Impact: This would significantly improve developer velocity, reduce QA time, and increase the robustness of extensions by enabling comprehensive testing…

Hype Train Level Emotes Set There's currently no API to provide the list of emotes a hype train might provide. This could be done in multiple ways, both generally and in-context.
For example:
/helix/chat/emotes/setcould add some constant emote set IDs for this purpose, such ashype-train-lv1,hype-train-lv4, etc...
/helix/hypetrain/statuscould include the list of unlockable emotes for thecurrent.levelvalue.
EventSubchannel.hype_train.*could include the list of unlockable emotes for thelevelvalue. These would not require any new methods or events; just additional properties to the responses.

Add source_broadcaster_id to Get Chatters endpoint for Shared Chat sessions Problem:
When a channel is in a Shared Chat session, the "Get Chatters" endpoint returns all chatters from all participating channels combined. There is no way to determine which chatters are native to which channel.Current behavior:
The endpoint only returns userid and userlogin for each chatter, regardless of Shared Chat status.Requested feature:
Add an optional sourcebroadcasterid field to the response (similar to how chat messages include source-room-id in EventSub). This field would indicate which channel the chatter is actually watching. This would bring the Get Chatters endpoint in line with the existing Shared Chat…

Add Message Filter to Channel Chat Message Conditions Most bot functionality is behind trigger characters, with "!" being the most popular. For such bots, receiving a webhook message for every message in chat is an unnecessary number of requests. I suggest a simple prefix comparison or regular-expression based "message_filter" condition to allow limiting channel.chat.message subscriptions, reducing network overhead and load at the cost of a single comparison.

Stream together participants in /helix/streams It would be nice if /helix/streams had an array of the channel id's of the channels its streaming with. One use case for this would up updating the automated live message in Discord if and with who they're streaming together in addition to updating the title/category

Add timestamp to channel.chat.message Add Timestamp when message was sent to channel.chat.message
Why?
Including the original timestamp of when a message was sent would be extremely valuable for multiple reasons:Improved Debugging – When a server processes a message with delay, having access to the actual sent time makes it much easier to identify and troubleshoot latency issues in the message flow.
Support for Time-Sensitive Chat Games – Some chat-based games rely on the exact send time of a message to determine whether to process it. In the event of lag, having the original timestamp allows developers to rely on Twitch’s data rather than…

Getting ban events shouldn't moderator scope with EventSub IRC's
CLEARCHAThasban-durationaccessible at all scopes, but EventSub'schannel.banrequireschannel:moderatescope, i.e must be a mod. This information is normally available to all chatters; 3rd party chat programs cannot migrate from IRC and retain feature parityEither the information should be provided via
channel.chat.clear_user_messages, or, better, the scope forchannel.banshould be expanded. Information can be restricted if the scope does not havechannel:moderate.4 votes -
Featured Clips - Set as featured But I forgot to add a user voice to set/unset the feature flag of a clip
We'd like to set/unset based on our own automation or external criteria, like we might run a poll in the streamers discord for clip voting and want the mark that clip as featured for a time.
Or we make a highlight reel so we feature the clips uses and this is done in an automatic way as the editor used a clip disco tool to select clips then download them (see get MP4 as an editor https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/310213-developers/suggestions/39228784-extend-clips-api-to-provide-the-mp4-url-so-editors) and the…

Provide an EventSub identifier in chat for _when_ a chat message is the PartnerVersary/AffiliateVersary message from prompt When a chat message is
PARTYHAT Happy Partner Anniversary
That chat message needs an identifier for "was prefilled from prompt"
As it is translated to the users local langage (not the channels language), so if a chat moderation bot is enforcing English (or whatever language) the mod bot can ignore/respond accordingly.
Notably if a bot is looking for "non latin" characters chinese is an easy wack in error for example
And doing "any message that starts with PartyHat" is a loophole, since theres also not API for "when is a channels 'versary"

Provide a working Auth example in the Unity Getting Started page This getting started page is legitimately riddled with errors. Multiple typos, nonfunctional code, outdated information. The authentication section, the first thing we see, is completely non-functional. Please provide examples that actually do work.
Someone commented on this 5 months ago, and nothing changed.

Title: API access to "My Clips" section I suggest adding an API feature that allows retrieving the list of clips available in the "My Clips" section - https://dashboard.twitch.tv/u/USER/content/clips/channel.
Currently, this functionality is not provided by the API, which limits the ability to manage and interact with this content programmatically.4 votes
