bad_ban_global_mod & bad_timeout_global_mod are gone for as far as i know (ref: https://blog.twitch.tv/en/2018/12/13/thank-you-global-moderators-4d44cfccf22/)

    Missing notices for vip events (vip_success, unvip_success, no_vips, bad_vip_grantee_banned, bad_vip_grantee_already_vip, usage_vip & bad_unvip_grantee_not_vip Might have missed some.

First line says "These tags apply to both the" and than only names one thing.

    usage_untimeout has "/raid <username>" in the message.

    Brief description

Documentation describes that there are functions such as followChannel and requestIdShare but the documentation doesn't mention that these functions don't work in the rig (at time of writing)

  4. From: https://github.com/twitchdev/issues/issues/55

    Brief description

    https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/extensions/building#using-the-configuration-service

Doesn't mention the key bit of information regarding the size limit of 5kb

    Additional context or questions

It's important to note here as people will start designing an extension and then discover the sizing limit late into construction of an extension. For clarity the limit should be noted here also

    Brief description

    https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/pubsub#topics

  10. For extensions that center around Clips it would be nice to be able to play that clip in the extension rather than having the viewer leave the extension/Twitch streamer to go and view said clip.

  11. would love a follow button that works like Twitter Follow/Tweet button. To avoid the need to oAuth-loop it and users would prefer that rather than granting access to their account for developers to throw a follow at any channel.

  12. I am currently developing a native Android application for Twitch and want to make use of the OAuth2.0 API. Since the Twitch Authorization Server doesn't seem to support the PKCE (Proof Key for Code Exchange), i will have to put my client secret into my native application, which isn't secure at all, because the app can easily be decompiled.

This is a requirement for all native apps, as stated by the IETF in RFC 7636 (https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7636).

I hope to see this implemented soon, because this poses a huge security risk for all native apps and their developers.

  13. If you have a not very tall browser.
And you request, a fair chunk of the oAuth scopes.

When you redirect the user to Twitch.

The Accept/Deny link page auto jumps down to the bottom of the page.

This means the first few/most "dangerous" scopes as well as the application name/logo and whom you are logged in as are above the fold of the page.

Basically "suggesting" to the user not to read all the scopes and just go accept/deny.

The auto jump to bottom of the page should be removed.

  15. It has become difficult to obtain whats on the frontpage by region.

Please provide an API to collect/obtain this data, it's useful for moderation to understand if/why we get a influx of viewers/chatters and can allocate additional bot rules/filters and/or moderation staff

  16. Well the idea is that the twitch drop works a little different than it's today, because it's so frustrating to see a friend that watches just 10 minutes of stream getting a item that you looked around 5 hours and open multiple streams to get the same item and it don't drop for you, I think the drop could at least consider the time that the person watch because like it works now and thatn situation happens is sorrowfull for some people

  17. Currently there's no way to get the status of a rerun stream, as /helix/streams only returns streams with the type "live" and "" (error)

Adding reruns with its type set to "rerun" would allow it to return rerun streams as well.

It's a problem that you can't get the status of a rerun stream because you then have no other choice than to treat it as offline, which means you e.g. may initiate a host, which will interfere with the stream.

  20. If you call GET https://api.twitch.tv/extensions/<client ID> you get a JSON back with the information about the extension. This is currently undocumented, but it would be a real useful took for discoverability and management, but being undocumented, it wouldn't be wise to use in a production environment. If this endpoint is planned to be kept, can it be added to the documentation for our use?
