Add overlay info to the player embed state We really need a way to determine what overlays display to the user so we can handle them gracefully. For example, we have no way of knowing when the mature overlay displays and this negatively affects our channel discovery UX.

Fixed position or better visibility for important announcements As per a request from Barry, it would helpful if any flagged messages on a page were fixed or visible when loading a bookmarked section. For example, right now there is an important message on the API reference page about OAuth requirements for Helix, but if someone goes directly to https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/api/reference#get-streams, they will not see this message currently.

An extension should be allowed to play a clip or highlight/other non live Twitch short Content For extensions that center around Clips it would be nice to be able to play that clip in the extension rather than having the viewer leave the extension/Twitch streamer to go and view said clip.

Add subscriber only status to Streams API endpoint. Right now there is no official way (there is an undocumented endpoint) to determine whether a stream is sub only or not. Subscriber only status prohibits a lot of people from interacting with the stream, so it'd make sense for applications to be aware of such a state.

There's no information about error response and it doesn't seem to be fully compatible with RFC 6749 which means I can't find info about possible errors easily.

Improve "view my subscriptions list" permissions dialog The "This extension can view my subscriptions list." toggle, (in Manage Extension Permissions) doesn't do a check to see if the channel that the extension is installed upon, is eligible for Subscriptions at all.
Wording should/could be changed to prevent broadcasters of type BLANK (as apposed to affiliate/partner), becoming confused.
As they'll click the toggle, run the oAuth dialog and then the toggle is still off.
On hitting the toggle, change the popup response from:
"You have successfully authorized this extension to view your subscriber list!"
To

Improve Extension configuration design The current configuration page has a lot of empty space and on laptops, we lose half of the screen space instead of having a nice place to configure an extension

Allow Adobe fonts At the moment, we can only use local fonts or google font in extensions.

Add total count to streams endpoint Now it is not possible to get the number of streams in a certain section without sending a large number of requests to the API.

include `game_id` in onContext not just the game name game_id would allow an Extension developer to make further API requests for a game with the required ID.

Viewer Only Extensions I was thinking, not all extensions need to be tried to a specific channel experience, and don't always interact with the broadcaster at all. Extensions like the chat translator, or maybe a TTS chat for viewers who can't read well, or visually impared, it would be great to have for users on every channel, not just channels where the broadcaster decides they want to use it. My idea is to have extensions that the view can enable on every channels, and possibly have the panel for viewer extensions be where the chat is, and possibly take up the bottom half…
