Various EventSub Thoughts The channel.subscription events are very lackluster. Aside from checking if it’s a gift, and what tier it was there isn’t much useful data here. Any chance we could see something like months total, moths streak, or the tier? I know this data is there in the subscriptions API call, just curious as to why it hasn’t been included in this release of the EventSub system. Seems like a miss there
The channel.ban/channel.unban events could/should be merged. Just smash em into one topic and include a tag: “isBanned” as a boolean. Seems silly to have them separate, in my opinion.

PayPal style flow for Bits Transactions Currently bits transactions only let you be notified of the SKU that was used.
I would like to see a more "PayPal" model or the bits usage flow.
Developers would make a POST request to Twitch with the SKU and any meta/extra data for the purchase, which would return a CheckoutID.
Developers would then pass the CheckoutID to use bits

Add Sub Goal Amount towards next Emote Slot to EventSub It would be great for alerts, and goal bars to receive the sub count information along with each event, similar to the progress on hype train, they push the total, goal, and progress in each event, so the precedent is there for eventsub to expend on the core data. Something similar to the dashboard data would be great

Add bet support to API (For Streamer AND Viewer) CRUD for bet as streamer
CRUD for bet as viewerAs streamer:
- Being able to start/cancel a bet from endpoint
- Being able to state who won from endpoint
- Maybe get stats about the bet (invested coins, status, nb of participant, ...) (as Events or/and as HTTP API)
As viewer:
- Receive an Event when there is a new bet
- Get bet info using endpoint (remaining time, title, bet A, bet B, nb of people who bet)
- Place a bet using endpoint

Add flag to suppress chat notification upon redemption When you have an application that uses channel points quite a lot and also reacts to them and does things, the chat is spammed with the redemption notifications which can negatively affect the chat experience.
I suggest adding a flag to custom redemptions that prevents the chat notification from being sent.

Bulk data fetch for Get Subscriptions, Follows, Blocks etc. The current APIs max out at 100 items per page, and while this is fine for most channels, there are some where you end up having to paginate for a long time to reach the end of the list.
Given there is rate limiting in place, would it be possible to make an endpoint (or use the current endpoints and add an "all" query parameter) with a high rate-limit cost that allows for the bulk fetching of this information?

i want change clip twitch category later after clipping Hello, there are unfortunately always VODs where no category is listed, when I create a clip there, the problem is that the clip does not appear in any category, that is very annoying for me as a streamer. That's why I ask you to vote for this idea, so that Twitch has a possibility to change the Twitch category after the clip is created.
For example, if a wrong category is set, there must be a possibility to change it later.

Please extend the payload (for both webhooks and the API) to contain this information about if it's a multimonth purchase

Extend heix subscribers or provide another endpoint for Lifetime Subscriber data This guide descibes how Partners can assign someone a lifetime sub that doesn't count to rev of points

The API doesn't present any information as to who is a lifetime sub or not.
So we cannot guestimate sub points (or revenue if we are building revenue reporting tools for streamers we work with) from the API as we don't know who is a lifetime sub or not.Please provide an API endpoint that lists these subs, which would be "cheaper" than a boolean flag added to the subscribers endpoint

Status CANCELLED should remove the cooldown on custom rewards I believe that updating the redemption to have a status of CANCELLED should remove any active cooldowns on the custom reward
I understand that it needs to go into the cooldown state immediately so that other users cannot redeem it again, however setting the status to CANCELLED is our way of signalling that the event did not complete. It's how the streamer says "sorry I can't do that, have your points back".
It makes little sense for the redemption to stay in cooldown when the custom reward has failed to be completed.

Filter status endpoint by callback URL Allow filtering the event sub subscriptions list by specific transport destinations
Some people may use a clientID to feed more than one application.

If a user authenticates using an App Access Token, add CORS headers With the helix oAuth requirements
It is often a problem for the less experienced developer to get started, as they don't understand certain rules and limitations around the API.
The less experienced developer may then choose to generate and leak their client secret, or app access tokens on their "front end only" websites in error.
So I propose that if the token is identified as App Access/Client Credentials, Twitch adds "CORS Headers" to block the request
Consider also CORS headers to the token fetching endpoints for App Access generation as well?

Display hosted channels parameter option Consider a parameter option to display hosted channels if the embedded channel is not live. The parameter option is being suggested so that a broadcaster/developer can choose if they do or do not want hosted channels to display when the experience is embedded.

Add categories to the Channel Points list on a channel Add the functionality to sort Channel Points redemptions into categories (and ofc make this settabel via the API).
It gets confusing and hard to find the redemption you're looking for with the current (amount of points based) sorting when you have one or more applications with multiple redemptions each and maybe then even some random single ones as well.

Moderation Endpoints: User Panel API endpoints should be implemented within the moderation:read or channel:moderate scope (not sure which would be the better fit) for the info present in the /user panel in mod view.
I imagine it would work very similarly to /helix/moderation/banned/events but with two major differences:
• broadcaster_id would not require matching the user_id in the auth token; it would just need to match a broadcaster_id that the user is a moderator for.
