This is entirely unacceptable. Political talks on a podcast or Just Chatting stream is one thing, but politically motivated ads should not be a thing. This is getting very close to pushing me away from twitch entirely.

I do not want to support ICE, I do not want my viewers to support ICE. Nobody should support ICE. They are a hand of fascism and deserve to be treated as such.

Do you want your user base to go to Kick? Because this is how you get your user base to go to Kick, which doesn't encourage Nazi propaganda. Do you really want to be the fascist company here? Or are you exempt from your own Terms of Service? Let us opt out of these disgusting ads.

Yeah, just a choice of the sorts of ads they'd want to play would benefit the streamer massively, and as such benefit Twitch's income.

Twitch is supposed to be a SAFE & INCLUSIVE community. ICE is quite literally the modern day gestapo, they're fascist dogs for hire with no moral compass. You cannot claim to be a safe inclusive community when you allow ads for literal concentration camps which mirror identical to a certain German Reich of 1933-45 Kidnapping, Displacement, & Torture included. How many of your partnered streamers are immigrants or children of immigrants? Have y'all even considered how ICE could be effecting them behind the stream? How triggering those ads could be? I am not an immigrant or child of an immigrant but even I know someone who was kidnapped by ICE & its heartbreaking/fear inducing to anyone with a ******* heart. It's not a question of being able to opt out of these ads, these ads should not be platformed period.

I thought Twitch had policies against racism and harassment? Why are they even entertaining the thought of having ICE ads?

Viewers are saying they will walk away from creators who advertise ICE but we have no control over the advertisement so this would affect revenues and viewership of innocent streamers who want nothing to do with these ads.

Kick is a viable, welcoming platform that does not play ads for fascists. Twitch isn't the only option anymore

This is beyond unsettling and disgusting. It's ridiculous that these recruitment ads would be running ANYWHERE, and considering their polarizing and political nature, it's madness that we creators have no say in whether they run on our channels.

Backing ICE is backing fascism. Period. They are masked terrorists working for a corrupt regime. They are actively abusing people, imprisoning them without due process, and torturing them. They are the modern gestapo. They are quite literally the enemy of all of the free people in the United States of America.

It is UNACCEPTABLE for Twitch to run their ads. I don't want them on my channel. I will be polling my viewers to see how many ICE ads come up. Give us a way to block them from our channels. Otherwise you're a part of this actively corrupt nazi-esqu regime. Again I say, if you are running ICE ads, you are part of the problem.

I have already ended my Turbo subscription. I don't particularly want to move my streaming to another platform, but I will if the ICE ads continue. You're asking for pretty much any streamer with a conscience and the financial security to do so, to leave your platform by doing this.

The Trump regime and ICE are evil. Would you advertise for Hitler? Run promos selling Mein Kampf? Maybe a hype train for Mussolini? How about some bits for Stalin? How about a spot on the front page for Mao Zedong? Is it Bezos or are you so greedy and desperate for funds that you'll accept them from the devil himself?

There should be a list of advertisements that played during a stream. A streamer should be able to look through the list and decide which ads align with their communities best. Easy solution

We need control over the ads we allow to run on our channels. I pretty sure no one wants to run these kind of ads, as they are harmful to a large portion of our communities. We are all just trying to take care of each other here and these ads are just a bad thing all the way around.

If you start forcing channels to play ads for ICE, most of us are going to stop running ads

I'm saying this as a Queer person and a child of immigrants, there is no excuse to be running ads for ICE anywhere on our channels. We should not be subjected to this and we should be able to opt out of ads like this that tout full fascism and multiple human and civil rights violations. I have worked very hard to build a safe welcoming space for our community and this does not reflect any of our values at all. We should be able to curate what ads run on our channel, because I know many of us would absolutely not choose to run ads for known fascists.
