You have over 13,000 people telling you we don't want this and you did it anyway. Having the opt in on by default is actively a choice that is playing in our faces. The fact that we had to manually disable it is ridiculous. The fact that you said the quiet part out loud, "We didn't have opt in because no one would opt in" is very telling. That alone should have told you it's a terrible idea, you KNEW it's a terrible idea and did it anyway. This is shady and unethical.

Gen AI has no place in our creative spaces and it's utterly despicable that Twitch thinks they can use our content to steal from us just to train Gen AI. There should be an opt out option for all of it because it's important for us to have a say and a choice, not opting us in by default. This is not the first time Twitch has done something shady like this i.e. the AI twitch clips. This is not okay.

AI is not it. Considering how much harm it causes, it's not worth it. So many of us keep pointing out how awful it is and it's everywhere. After the disaster of this year's Twitch Con there's no reason for this. You do not get to scrape our voices and you sure don't get to act like you're doing us a favor with this.

Figure drawing is not sexual in any way. It's art study and meant to improve and learn for artists. There is no excuse for not communicating with artists clearly about this and banning with no explanation. Once again, Twitch needs to be more transparent and more honest about this.

This is a terrible idea and it didn't need to be done. It is also an accessibility issue as it hides a lot of information regarding the tags, the follow and subscribe button, and is difficult to read. None of this was a good idea at all.

This didn't need "clarification" at all. It needed to be removed, because again my living my life as a queer Asian woman is not a sensitive social issue, nor is it political. At what point do you consider our lived experiences political? It's a slippery slope that can lead to further harassment and attempts to silence us from bigots. You claim you care about our marginalized communities, but you don't actually listen to us and think that this is good enough. We're fighting for our human rights because again bigots in power made our identities political. They're not even hiding their brazen hate, it's full gloves off with them, and you think this response is acceptable after so many of us in our communities have told you it's not. This is us holding you accountable yet again and again you fail us.

Our mods do so much for our communities, volunteering their time. This absolutely should be implemented so they can continue keeping our spaces welcoming and safe and not miss anything.

Show actual care for the community because so many are immunocompromised and Covid is not over just because people wish it was so. Everyone deserves to feel safe and have that safety taken seriously.

This is such a slap in the face to all of the communities who have spoken out about AI. It's also very insulting that Twitch is working with OpenAI considering they have multiple valid lawsuits for the gross harm they have caused already. No one asked for this, no one wants this, and yet you keep insisting on forcing it on everyone because of your own greed.
