Ad-Free Viewing for Moderators
Moderators should be able to watch the streams they mod for without having to deal with ad breaks.

Mods should only have overlay ads, instead of full screen ads, that still permit them to hear and see the streamer. The ads can still play audio that is at a lower level than the stream volume and the ad overlay will still promote the product or service. This way Twitch still gets their ad revenue and Mods can do their job at the same time. It's a win win!

As someone who has been a Twitch Moderator for years now for multiple streamers, I strongly believe that having Ad Free viewing for Moderators/Editors would only help things run smoother and would allow a faster reaction time between Streamer & Moderator in the case of the streamer needing help with something that required Moderator assistance. I will also add that I feel Ad free viewing could also be seen as an extra perk when getting the privilege to moderate for someone's channel. As a streamer myself I will also state the Moderators are the strong backbone of any and all communities that deserve the love and extra perk for all the time and work they do when they don't have to. #NoAds4Mods

Our mods do so much for us! They deserve to have benefits within our channels!! No ads is the absolute LEAST we can do for them!

Mods should be ad free so that they can react to requests from a streamer. If the streamer has 3 minute ads and need a mod to do something right as add start, thats 3 minutes before the mod can perform their role.

Our mods do so much for our communities, volunteering their time. This absolutely should be implemented so they can continue keeping our spaces welcoming and safe and not miss anything.

This would definitely help for us who have to mod for multiple people and who get hit by ads during crazy times like raids announcements etc...

As someone who mods for multiple channels and struggles with money. Having this would be a huge plus as we can miss important information/announcements.

I mod for multiple channels, and to be frank, subbing up to every channel is unsustainable and financially not possible. It's not much of an issue when the channel is smaller, but for larger communities with a larger audience and more of an active chat, being able to catch every word of the streamer is important. They could be asking me a question and be interrupted mid-sentence, which isn't ideal.
I'm a proactive mod that tries to ban words before they hit chat, so I might not always be the best at taking action when it's called for. During those times, I'll defer to the streamer for the best course of action.
I want to make streaming as hassle-free as possible for them, and to do that, I need to be able to listen to everything that is said and do things like create polls or pin messages when asked. I can't do that if I can't hear them because an ad interrupted.

It’s 2024 and Twitch has been around for way too long to not have this feature. As both a creator and mod for other creators, having ad-free viewing for mods is very important. We should be able to connect with one another at all times without being interrupted by ads. Please consider this option, as it will help improve safety in our streaming communities.

While most mods are likely subbed to the channel that they mod for, there may come a time where that won't be the case. It's hard enough trying to keep spoilers, trolls and other things under control but to be interrupted by ads constantly makes their jobs that much more difficult. Moderators need to be able to hear their creators because things can happen very quickly and anything that can help them keep spaces safe needs to be implemented.

Mods are very important to the community. Mods help make streams safer and easier for the chat and streamer. It’s a lot easier for a mod to do their job without interruptions. Ads could cause a mod to miss something important. We don’t always have the money to pay for a subscription but it’s more important for us to be on top of everything in the streams without being interrupted by ads.

My mods have expressed this needing to be a thing because it can be hard to fulfill my needs when they can get hit with ads mid-sentence. PLEASE consider this and thank you Ice for the user voice

As someone who mods in various chats, it would be nice to not have to deal with ad breaks. Mods could potentially miss out on a lot of important announcements.

How this hasn't been a feature yet is beyond me. It's a lot easier to moderate streams when we can see everything at all times, and we shouldn't have to spend money for that ability
