The government has no business shoving recruitment ads onto twitch that streamers have no control over. Politically charged advertisements like this shouldn't be on the platform at all but if they must they need to be opt in due to the sensitive nature of what they depict.

Beyond just having an option to opt-out, Twitch should outright refuse to platform the American Gestapo ads. If you wouldn't platform Nazi creators, don't platform Nazi ads.

I would strongly urge Twitch (as a company and platform) to refuse to cooperate with ICE recruitment efforts. Twitch is an international platform and many creators using this site curate international communities.
At the very least, please allow creators to opt out of advertisements from government agencies.

Just like how some Twitch streams can be considered advertiser-unfriendly, ICE ads and ads that promote politically-motivated and illegal kidnappings of legal citizens are absolutely streamer-unfriendly and we should be able to reject them from at least our channels, and at best the entire platform.

Right now, the voices of rational sense, common decency, and the general will of the American people are being quite literally Trumped by oligarchy, theocracy, and violent, hateful extremism. Our system of representative government has failed us in that those who have been elected to speak for us in Congress have largely either been bought and paid for or quashed into silence and conformity. It is therefore absolutely crucial that we, The People, maintain our Voice in the spaces where it can still be heard: our own communities, both geographically and electronically. Whether the owners of Twitch have intended it or not, they have offered a space for diverse communities to thrive. These are the blocks, cul-de-sacs, and neighborhoods of the digital age. Just as many of us would fight against our lawns and fences being used for ICE's purposes, we fundamentally reject ICE, ICE's activities, ICE's supporters, and ICE's efforts to recruit and infest. I urge Twitch and any/all of its owners, partners, and affiliates to reject any attempt by ICE to invade and exploit our communities for their own profit. This, of all the ways and methods Twitch has and could use to monetize its creators and viewership, would be among the deepest betrayals that could be inflicted upon the very people that make Twitch successful.

I agree with the Reneta_Scian's statement. I also wish to give an opt-out of any goverment advertising. That includes ANY government. I don't want my viewers to see ads from ICE or any government agency (from any country), especially not recruitment ads.

I absolutely do not want to see ICE on Twitch, they should not be welcome on this platform in any form.

I do not and will not EVER support ICE and I do not want any of their ads on my channel. Neither I, no my viewers want to see anything of theirs, and it will actively hurt my ability to stay afloat via streaming. Respect the creators your company claims to care for, and let us opt out of running those ads on our channels!

Your mission statement is to create belonging by enabling streamers to build community. The presence of these ads on the platform actively hinders a significant number of streamers' ability to accomplish just that.

Trust when I say I will become more insufferable than I already am if my content is used to run ads for ICE. Their recruitment is not welcome anywhere near my stream, and I will go to great lengths to ensure my viewers know that.

Many creators on twitch are in the bullseye with the scope of what the dumb dumb in office is trying to pull. These ads not only hurt the image of twitch, but it also makes people feel unsafe. Same for recruitment ads for military service. I would rather get ads for condoms and Erectile Dysfunction gel than those political and harmful ads. LET CREATORS CHOOSE WHAT TYPE OF ADS THEY HAVE RUN RATHER THAN A GAME OF RUSSIAN ROULETTE. And KEEP THEY B**** A**ES OFF THE PLATFORM!!

This is uncalled for. I am not okay with possible ICE ads. F*** ICE and we will be loud about this until this **** is over with.

ICE's actions are 1:1 w/ the actions of police forces in failed states, authoritarian states, and worse. I want nothing to do with any of these ads and think far less of any platform that'd allow them to run.

This type of advertising has no business on the platform. Most, or the majority of, communities work to be inclusive of all people. ICE is a divisive topic, and frankly, thier recruitment ads should not be displayed. Not to mention that ICE is also irrelevant to every country outside of the United States.
