As somebody that runs my community as a safe space where others can come to free themselves of judgements and the stressors of the world, this act of allowing ICE to run ads on Twitch is about the worst of any possible idea that one could concoct.

An illegitimate organization that is accomplishing nothing but stroking fear and terror in the hearts of many, disappearing anyone who isn't white or disagrees with Trump, regardless of their citizenship status, brings absolutely nothing of value to any platform or any space where these ads may appear. There is no reason whatsoever that this should be forced upon us. Creators should be given the right to opt out or outright remove certain types of ads from our channels altogether.

This is not going to end well to anyone. Twitch, do better and remove ICE ads from the platform, or more traffic will be lost as a result.

Disgusting. What in sam hill is wrong with y'all, Twitch? It doesn't matter how much they're paying you. You allowing ICE ads is like saying you condone them disappearing people—criminal or NOT (the latter of which has been prioritized because the current regime does not believe in due process)—as well as their BLATANT racism.

Disappointing. Get it out of the ad rotation and give them their money back if they paid you to do it.

I'm absolutely appalled and disgusted that twitch would even allow advertisements for the very firm that is responsible for creating literal internment camps and denying every single right we have for due process. If advertisements are forced on streamers then streamers should have a say on what advertisements are allowed on their channels!! With the ability to ban certain ads, especially ads from ICE.

The fact we have to apologize to our peers, friends, and viewers that ads now showing on our channels out of our control encourage senseless witch hunting, prejudice, racism, violence, and causing irreparable harm to countless people to simply make fractions of a penny is absolutely appalling. And to extend, the various other countless ads that encourage other potentially harmful topics such as gambling, which many viewers on twitch are of an impressionable age or disposition. If companies are allowed to opt-out of channels with certain subjects or content labels, then the streamer, who is the vehicle for Twitch's ad revenue, should have the same choice.

Unsurprisingly Disappointed that this platform is having ICE ads shoved down our throats thanks to a certain rotten orange pulling the strings. We creators should have full control of what ads to roll on our channels.

This is beyond disgusting and I too want to see full control over what ads play on our channels as I do not want anything to do with any ads involving the unconstitutional ICE team along with any ads that involve the garbage government we are having to deal with right now in the US as it is all straight up fascist and nazi propaganda. Do something now Twitch and stop accepting money from fascists and nazis!

I feel appalled that Twitch may use my stream to advertise recruitment for an agency that's actively trying to ruin the lives of everyone I love and care about.

My livestreams are places for my viewers to take a step away from the stress of day to day and listen to me ramble about video games while I work on art-I do NOT want ANY sort of government 'ads' playing on my stream, especially ones that promote fascism. Having ICE Recruitment ads is VERY inappropriate and tone-deaf to the current situation within the US, where fascism is on the rise and leading to violence against innocents. Either get rid of the ads entirely or at the very least let us opt-out as to better protect our communities. Their propaganda is NOT welcomed here online, just as it's not welcomed in real life.

I would like full control over the ads that are run on my channel. Not just for ICE which is a terrible thing, but I wouldnt want some anti-LGBTQIA ad run on my channel. ICE ads are not welcome in my space no matter if I'm on Twitch or anywhere else.

I want nothing to do with fascists and nothing to do with people who accept fascist money. A quick glance at the ICE and Department of Homeland Security social media messages reveals an alarming trend towards coded white supremacy, anti-immigration, and pro-fascism messaging. Twitch, stop taking money from Nazis.

I don’t want police-state advertising on my channel. Plain and simple. Twitch is supposed to be an inclusive place, and that includes undocumented immigrants.

ICE is not a company, it has nothing of value to give to anyone. I rarely see recruitment ads for other companies, why should there be one for something that isn't? ICE ads will only further incentivize people to find strong ad-blocks which will be detrimental to streamers as well as Twitch's bottom line. The best time to remove this propaganda garbage was before it became a thing, the next best time is right now.

Absolutely no ICE ads should not be allowed on this site. It's an organization that is nothing but hate, and that hate is not welcomed on mine or anyone else's channel. There are many, many out there that have stated they will leave the site if they see any ICE ads, and as a small streamer that is going to hurt my channel and my community. Let me decide what ads should be playing on my channel because I will not promote hate.

I agree with this. No one should be forced to play ads they do not agree with. On top of that, these kind of ads should not be tolerated on the platform. Twitch allowing these kind of ads simply show they do not care about the people using their platform.

This is a tone-deaf decision. I was sick of the military recruiting ads, this is a whole new level of propaganda. It has no business on twitch. And no business with me. If twitch does not remove this I will remove myself. You probably don't care, but I know I'm not the only one that will walk. I'll find content elsewhere. And support content creators elsewhere where ICE and Bezos get none of my money or time.
