Twitch category name collision
Currently two (or more) games with the exact same name (usually reboots) share the same category in Twitch. And all the cover art, description, tags are taken from only one of the games. This usually means that the other game(s) effectively completely lacks a page on twitch, despite being a completely different game and having unique gameplay. Can something be done about this?

The 'remastered' Dwarf Fortress is just the 'original' Dwarf Fortress after years of continual updates. They are the same game. There should be separate categories for them. Additionally, having Adventure mode be listed as a separate category doesn't made sense - there aren't separate categories for singleplayer and multiplayer modes of most games, so why have Adventure Mode of Dwarf Fortress treated as a separate game?

I voted there. Having them all separate like that just makes things a mess. Great game. I got the basics down and am getting used to it bit by bit. Cheers!

Dwarf fortress and all of it's modes of gameplay, as well as its last year's update, are a singular game, that should have a singular category.
Please reconsider this incorrectly designated split.

Who thought creating a new section for every mode of a game is a good idea? I want to see their high school diploma.

They both are the same game

They both are the same games. We can't have multiple folders for the same game.

They are the same game. Please merge them all. The game is in continuous development with lots of features and modes for any world you create.

Dwarf Fortress (2006), Dwarf Fortress (2020) and Dwarf Fortress: Adventure Mode are all the same game - it's ridiculous that each is a different category and that when KitFox originally asked for this to get fixed IGDB said 'no'

Merge them. They are the same game, including Adventure mode.

Why would IGDB not change such an obvious error?

Both entries are the same game, just slightly different versions of the game, one of them is 0.47, another is 0.50 (now known as 50). If these 2 versions are separated into two categories, each major patch of every game should be it's own category too, which is ridiculous.

IGDB is obviously not a good source of information if they are pulling this kind of nonsense.

Funny how the people behind Twitch are such twits they need a community to tell them “There is only one Dwarf Fortress that has been in development for nearly 2 decades and Adventure Mode is a mode of the game. It is right there in the name Adventure MODE. Be like splitting a game up between its campaign story and the multiplayer mode.”
Hopefully this gets resolved soon because this is bloomin’ stupid.

As pointed out elsewhere, there are at least 3. Adventure mode seems to also have its own directory.
Twitch, please fix!

Imagine the devs of a game telling you that you made a simple mistake by splitting two modes in their game into their own game categories, and then ignoring the devs of that game. Couldn't be me, but sadly, some people are not very bright.
