Block categories
You should be able to block a category just like you can block a stream and a user.
For example, some people don't want to see naked streams and categories in their recommendations.

Just as you can with channels, you can click on the "⋮" icon below the category that is being recommended to you either on the Front Page or in the Browse tab when filtering categories by "Recommended for You" and select "Not Interested". This will remove it from your recommendations. If you ever change your mind or make a mistake, you can adjust the channels/categories you have marked to not show in your recommendations by going to your account settings. Thanks.

I totally approve, sometimes I happen to see streamers on the home page who are showing manga or talking about TV series / anime or games, spoiling me. I tried to block the streamer, to report it, but nothing, always reappears. Please add something to block streamers. If I don't want to see a streamer, it is useless to show it continuously on the home page, even with that category blocked.

Uh huh, I'm sure that's why you were searching the hot tub category--you just wanted to *block* it. (Also, you're like a year late to the trend of complaining about hot tub streams.)

This feature would be great. I would immediately block ASMR and LGBT content.
I see LGBT content on main page every day, even if it repulses me, without any apparent option to remove it. -

Please give us the ability to search for a certain category and be able to block it or turn it off recommendations so we do not see it. I went through setting after setting and could not find an easy way to disable it. I then said not interested manually and they keep popping back up. Like in the case of pools, hot tubs and beaches category in IRL, you are just preying on vulnerable needy men for a profit. Stop it. Or at list give us an easy quick and obvious option to block any category or tag we choose.

this "exists" but only in the sense that it'll stop recommending the category, not "all streamers currently streaming in the category" which would give this ability an actual form and function.
Currently you can "block" a category, but it'll only stop it showing in your direct recommendations. -

i and (hopefully) others, would like an option to block entire games from showing up at all
i absolutely HATE fortnite and pubg, would like a way to make sure nobody can send me to a hosted stream, and that the channel recommendations dont even show them
i just want an easy, in-built option to completely wipe their existence from my stream-watching experience, few things ruin a nap more than waking up to find out the streamer i was watching went offline and sent to a fortnite stream or a pubg stream, and if none of my favorite streamers are online, twitch has this incessant habit of showing them as recommended
i know theres a 3rd party extension i can use, but it should be just provided by twitch

100% agree. Right now many people are having to utilize browser extensions for "tag" specific and hiding channels based on specific games; however, it doesn't hide it on the entry page and also the extension begins to lag the browser if it is loaded down with games you'll never play because they are rather offended regarding a game's content or because they just purely hate the game and want no traces of it being seen when they're logged into their account on twitch.
Even when utilizing the extension, it does not block featured streams. I want an official way to block by game/block by tags because users should have control over what they want to view/see when using their account to view content on any website they log into. By not having this feature, it's basically forcing content on us. As it stands, Twitch has the largest streaming service for Gamers that are "live streaming". Youtube may be big but it does not have the amount of game titles to choose from to view live streams for -- typically it's a dozen games with a lot of streamers instead of a lot of games with a lot of streamers, streaming live.
Anyways, I agree and would also like to see block by tags to go along with block by game title so we can further refine what we view when logged into our Twitch account. After the very least, Block by game title is a must if you truly wish your customers to be able to select what content they wish to see when logging into your services.

I would LOVE to have a don't show me Streams by <game title> in the "Featured Broadcasters" section.
Some people selectively watch TV & Movies based on content or ratings why not streams?
If someone doesn't like or offended by violent games like CoD, PUBG or 7DTD they should have the option not to ever see these titles on the main app. Same goes for "Toxic Communities" like LoL & HearthStone.
