Refine the Music category into more specific categories. The Music category has got extremely stacked in the last couple of years. I'd like to suggest creating sub-categories for Music, or more specific Music categories like Music Production, DJ, Radio, Performance, etc...
With Music being a such a broad category at the moment I feel like it's a challenge for people to find the specific kind of Music content they want and it would also help music streamers who specialise in specific areas of the category find their audience a lot easier in what is currently a massively popular (but congested) category.

Add New Game Category EXR Rowing Okay so I am a Zwift streamer and I also like to use EXR Game. I noticed there is no category. IGDB says they are removing the Zwift category and refuse to add EXR because it requires additional equipment in order to play on a console. So they said I need to contact twitch directly to manually add the category, there is no other way to ********* there. Since I am not the only person that is streaming EXR Rowing app it seems like a fairly simple and easy thing to get done. I have searched all over the internet…

Broken fishing category seemingly intentional Twitch broke the fishing category by making it spam 'fishing' categories, 4+ of them in dropdown on stream manager, this removed all followers of the category - shadowbanned it when you follow it - now it always says 0 viewers no matter who streams in it, and you click it on mobile and you see the streamers are shadowbanned hidden from the view and there they are actually streaming. Filter out "adult" art streams I want to watch/find normal art streams but most of the art streams that are listed under the Art category have artists drawing "adult" "questionable" content. There are way to many channels that produce "sexual" content and just because it doesn't violate the terms of service, doesn't mean that it's appropriate to have. Please have some way of either filtering out these channels or strengthen the terms of service. (Also, it's not just the art it's also the streamers themselves. How can you allow streamers to have their chests be somewhat shown to get views??)

Starting / Starting soon Category I think it would be a good idea to add a "starting" or "starting soon" category, this category will be used when a streamer is starting his/her stream.
Streamers usually use "Just chatting" category when its starting, so, i often think they are doing IRL or something but they just started the stream.
The category will be very useful for both, streamers and users, to announce the stream.Sorry if my english is bad, i will be welcome to hear your comments.

Restrablecer la categoría "Fightcade" Saludos Twitch, hace un tiempo atrás estaba disponible la categoría de Fightcade, y de un momento a otro dejó de estar disponible, estaba muy cerca de alcanzar los 1k seguidores en los pocos meses que estuvo habilitada como categoría. Para quienes no conocen, Fightcade es una plataforma gratuita para jugar videojuegos retro en línea. Cada vez van creciendo más y más los canales de retrogamers o creadores de contenido que hacemos streams en Twitch utilizando este programa. Automotive / Motorsports Category Myself and many other streamers do automotive repair, Racing, designing and don't have a category to do so under. I believe a umbrella cat. of motorsports should be added to help people find that content.

Final Fantasy TCG Category (FF TCG / FFTCG) The FF TCG has been going since 2011 (and was rebooted in 2016, thriving ever since).
Currently when real life events are streamed, there's no category for this to be streamed under. The closest thing is for the Final Fantasy Digital Card Game, which was something entirely different for Yahoo customers that closed down in 2020.
Other TCGs have categories to use for real life events or event for players to stream their webcam practice or online simulator games. For example there's the "Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game" category alongside all it's actual games that Konami use for events and stores…

We've got a really awesome, engaged community on Twitch, and it would be perfect form of outreach to connect with fans of D&D, Warhammer, and countless other miniature producers. music feedback category hey so im in a group of music streamers that stream music feedback, where producers and vocalists send in music to get feedback for so they can improve, unfortunately there has been a "feedback" category added, but this may be too wide of a spectrum, we would love to have a "music feedback" section added to twitch so that we can have our own section and not be hidden behind the load of music radio stations and dj streams, we would just be very thankful if a music feedback category could be added, thanks

"Just Chatting" Is NOT Enough!--Need Categories For Other Creative IRL Streamers (Actors, Voice Actors, Live Readers, Creative Writers, etc) We need more specific options that's not "Just Chatting." ---and tags for them don't always work.
Since for many communities... especially for tiny ones, vtuber streamers, and/or female streamers owned ones.
This category is EASY troll, bots, and cyber bully bait.---Had plenty of those in my channel due to being tiny community and "female owned."

Add "Highrise: Virtual Metaverse" as a Category I've been trying to get a mobile game I play called Highrise: Virtual Metaverse added as a game through IGDB, but they said it seems like more of a platform. I was told to reach out to Twitch directly to have it added as a category.

"songbattle.io" Category "songbattle.io" is a music-based tournament that is often played by streamers along with their communities and audience. These streamers have been asking us, the developers, for a category repeatedly, and do revert to "Just Chatting" most of the time.
We have proposed songbattle.io to IGDB, but were rejected due to them not considering it a game by their guidelines. Instead, they proposed we try here, referring to cases such as "Dungeon Alchemist", which is not a game per se, but still used by streamers and their audience.
