Audio-drama Add a set of catagories for people who are streaming their own original content like audio-drama and plays.

Birthday When people have their birthdays their stream could be in a separate birthday section so that people can easily find them and say happy birthday. Could just be a small tag the same as like raid content is for example.

Dungeon Chat This category is proposed for Twitchers who lean toward the kink, fetish, cosplay, BDSM angle. No sex stuff, or acting out, just tasteful chatting and streaming about the scene. Dress up, education, information, ideas exchange, etc. The Dungeon category seems game oriented, and Just Chatting is a just a wee bit too vanilla for us. Thanks in advance, dears.

Add Sub Categories to Music I see a lot of musicians stream on Twitch but we should be able to niche down our search to specific instruments ex. I want to find people only playing piano or the ukulele, they would be easier to find rather than go through a list of many general category musicians.

Create an Unboxing Category With the growing interest in Collectible Trading Cards and other large interest items that have caused the 'Break' society to grow. The persons streaming this content would benefit greatly from it's own category so that those who have branched out from 'Pokemon' could feel at home.
The 'Unboxing' tag is a great start, but a category itself would allow those who soley stream that content would use and leave the 'Pokemon TCG' category to those who soley stream that and not get out shadowed by breakers.

Maitetsu (Visual Novel) on IGDB, but doesn't show up as Twitch category Not sure if this is a bug or not, but this PC game does not appear as a category for streamers in streaming apps such as Twitch Studio or Streamlabs OBS.
It DOES appear when editing categories for VODs, but when you save it doesn't stay. It appears as "Maitetsu"

There is another version with a similar name on IGDB, "Maitetsu: Pure Station" , but it never shows up as a Twitch category or in the stream apps. This version is for the Switch and PS4.

Two Categories I think that Streamers should be able to choose up to two categories at a time. For me personally, this would mean being able to choose both the ASMR category as well as the Stardew Valley category, as my stream is both of these things. Another example would be people who play retro games. They would be able to categorize their streams as both Retro and whatever game they may be playing.
This way, you wouldn't have to sacrifice exposure by picking between two possible categories. There are games that people play that do not have a lot of followers.…12 votes -

Viewers low-to-high on Just Chatting category? Idk why Just Chatting category don't have L-t-H sorting, i don't know if is necessary but i need that.

Zero Hour Description Update Zero Hour has an incorrect description that describes a game I cannot find that exists. The Zero Hour described, and the one that streamers have been using, should say something like:
"Zero Hour is a tactical FPS with online team-based gameplay that takes place in a variety of fictional locations interpreted in Bangladesh with Real-life scale & resource management. It brings a grounded, close quarter combat experience to the game."
Images are on Steam but the devs would probably supply the logo in a heartbeat to correct the current misrepresentation of the game on Twitch as streamers have been using…

Franchise Categories I noticed certain games like pokemon people always stream under the most recent game so people can more easily find pokemon streams of any pokemon game. Instead any games in a franchise should have a category for said franchise that shows all the streams for a game of a certain franchise. This way someone can stream under Pokemon Red/Blue and another person can be streaming under Pokemon Black/White and both streams would show up on the Pokemon Franchise Category. This would be the case for all other major franchises like Mario, Zelda, Call of Duty, etc.

irl fishing streams are growing we hold tournaments for irl fishing streamers. and all we have right now is just chatting and travel outdoors. so folks have a hard time findings us since their really isnt a category for us.

Tabletop Games as a category Tabletop Games - A good category
We are a streaming channel which does a variety of tabletop games.We live play Dungeons and Dragons and other TTRPGs, but we also want to focus on live plays of board games, miniatures games, various card games, and also provide tabletop gaming news, reviews and interviews.
It is a niche that we cannot set as a category and so its harder to gain traction or attention in that niche audience on twitch.

Can we get a category for card games? I've been looking at how to get a card game that is currently being streamed on twitch by a few people listed in IGDB so that twitch will have it listed as a game.
Currently people are just streaming it under the Magic the Gathering label because you have to pick something and that is card-gamey. But whilst MTG is the largest card game, many other games are seeing success online in various forms.
Whilst pokemon and MTG command the limelight in terms of box openings etc.

Bouldering/Climbing Category I have a very new and unique stream on Twitch, Which gets lost in the contaminated and incorrectly titled streams in Fitness and Health. I seem to find that a lot of streams are Hot tubs or People falling asleep and claiming it is health as their reasoning.
I would like to have a Category dedicated to the Climbing and Bouldering side of things as a fitness activity, that is also a recognised sport too.
