  1. Bug Enhanced Broadcasting & vertical and horizontal live stream

    I use multi-track video (Enhanced Broadcasting). However, for the past few days, I've been accepted into the beta program for the dual format (vertical and horizontal live stream), but the multi-track (Enhanced Broadcasting) system is no longer working.

    In addition, I can no longer stream in mono-track video.

    Is it possible to leave the beta program for the dual format (vertical and horizontal live stream) and revert to the horizontal format only?

  2. Allow us to set Twitch volume.

    Whatever the bug is that is causing all streams to open at 100% volume makes for a lot of trouble for the extra loud streams and don't know it will be. Give us a volume control at least in settings that allows us to set the volume for opening a stream. It will require me to turn up or down some streams but makes for a much more pleasant experience than to click to view a stream and feel like it is trying to bust my eardrums.

    Lowering the volume actually makes the click/pop clearer to hear for some reason.

  4. Playing Streams from the start recently needs Pause/Play to reduce latency

    in the past, streams runs perfectly on desktop with no latency. now streams starts with latency and needs to pause / play to synchronize

  5. (Bug Report) Specific VoD with error #3000 example at a timestamp and fix

    This is more of a bug report rather than any sort of suggestion, but this seems like the most applicable place to post it.

    I was running into error #3000 frequently when watching a particular VOD, and eventually realized that the errors were not occurring randomly, but at specific time stamps in the video. One solution was to disable my chrome browser's hardware acceleration, but that resulted in heavy tearing on the video no matter what my vsync and other related settings were set to. Eventually, I found the solution in the form of using chrome://flags to explicitly either

  6. Proposed Fix for Frame Drop Buffer: 30s chat delay, then start stutter

    When streamers experience frame drops: Twitch currently buffers by adding chat delay for smoothness. While this does effectively buffer the video, it adds unnecessary confusion and frustration between the streamer and chat. If there is a several minute delay, chat is basically removed from the stream experience. Other platforms use stuttering to buffer, resuming stream live after the dropped frame. This makes it obvious that there is a drop, but chat is engaged: which is preferable for most streamers I've met experiencing this.   8. Video quality does not revert to high quality after tabbing off the Twitch page

    Absolutely remarkable that after YEARS your video player still does not return to the original quality after tabbing to another screen for a moment.

  9. How about fixing your video player so it doesn't constantly stop/freeze on Microsoft Edge?

    As self explanatory as it is, it's shocking that Twitch can't seem to figure out how to stop its video player from freezing on Microsoft Edge

    Stream volume is always jumping up back to 100%. I normally watch streams at 1 to 5% so it keeps hurting my ears so could you fix it asap.

    When i click ,, start streaming ,, on obs i start streaming even twitch is saying im streaming but when i click on the stream it had my offline banner and its saying that im offline while i have around 11 minute streamed and i even had 3 poaple on my stream while i was offline that makes no sense

  12. Keep streaming quality as user selected when using picture in picture

    When using Picture in Picture mode, the quality of the stream drops to the "out of focus" quality, rendering the PIP mode unusable.

    When I use PIP I'm ACTUALLY watching the stream, so it would be nice having it in HD when applicable.

    I am having an issue, just making you all aware, do not know what the cause is, but for some reason as of recent, i am on a new install of windows 11, fresh browser install, nothing extra, no extensions or plugins. but twitch streams just stop after a few mins, i have to stop and start, to play again and it just stops, my internet is fiber 1k up 1k down, internet, computer, or software is not an issue, in fact i switched browser to opera, and i do not have an issue, anyone else experiencing this?

  15. Audio/video desync

    Audio/video desyncs when watching streams and vods for a short amount of time, across all channels, browsers and devices. No noticeable buffering or stuttering, just a slow drift until video is behind audio. This started happening a few weeks ago and I've seen streamers and viewers complaining about it. Pausing and resuming stream fixes it for a while, while vods stay desynced. If left for a long time the desync gets worse and worse.

    Steps to reproduce:

    Open any stream in theater mode.
    Go to any button with an upward tooltip
    Hover over the above tooltip

  17. AndroidTV/AppleTV: Pause/FF/Rewind changes resolution back to auto

    I have both a Shield TV and Apple TV, the experience is the same… I can start a stream and select 1080p for example. If I pause it then resume, or fast forward and resume, or rewind and resume, the resolution automatically switches to Auto.

    This is awful and very annoying as a consumer. It’s bad enough I have to change from the awful Auto setting at the start of every stream, but the fact that any action I take reverts it is just bad design. Please address this so the resolution setting is persistent.

  19. Constant Error #3000 on Firefox Mac M1 when adverstisement starts

    I am getting error #3000 every time the web player on firefox tries to start playing the advertisements. This always happens when the page is in focus, 100% of the time.

    I have tried clearing site data and cookies but the issue still occurs, not having the page in focus (in another tab or window or app) however, the stream is uninterrupted and continues as expected. Ad blocker has no affect (either on or off). Other browsers (chrome, safari) are not experiencing this issue.
