flickering chat box As a viewer, I don't want my "send a message" box flickering, so that my eyes can be saved.
Steps to reproduce:
when watching a stream,
1. click on the "send a message" box and don't type anything
2. hover the mouse cursor over the 'followed channels' or 'recommended channels' without typing anything
3. you can notice the "send a message" box flickering between the 'clicked' & 'non-clicked' mode*It's not a big deal... but kind of disturbing.

Please whitelist the following unicodes in the thingy that usually filters out unicodes These unicodes are not invisible or zalgo and used for TTS, so yeah.

Smile icons shown with bug with cyrillic Smile icons shown with bugs or not shown at all with cyrillic languages (russian) with mobile App (Android/Apple).

surface pro chat bug needs to be fixed I am on a Microsoft surface pro and when i chat with the touch screen keyboard it will auto correct a correct work onto the word i was typing. Like hello will come out helloeello. This does not happen when i use the normal keyboard. I think it is a twitch bug because I do not have this issue anywhere else. It is very annoying. Just wondering if anyone else notices this and if it can be fixed?

User Anniversary "Celebrate anniversary" chat pop-up When it is a Streamers anniversary, there is a chat pop-up that shows to the user asking if they want to celebrate, clicking this puts a certain text into the users chat box so they can share it!!!
Problem: If the user does not interact with this pop-up and simply allows it to disappear/timeout, the pop-up still puts this text into the users chat box and focuses the chat. Which could allow for acciental messages to be typed into the chat box and send in chat, say you were typing out something important just for the Chat box to take…

Make emote hover text non-selectable When a user on browser hovers over a emote in Twitch chat, it brings up a small text overlay with the text name of the emote. This overlay allows users to select the text within it, which makes it very difficult to highlight and copy chat message (example: raid messages to copy/paste into the next stream).
Can the CSS be adjusted so that these little overlays with text can't be selected with the cursor? Should be an easy fix with a few lines of CSS. Thanks!

I am using Google Chrome as my web browser.
Problem 1:
I always work with twitch in the back of my screen, taking ½ or 1/3 of the screen.
Since a few months, I happen to have a strange behavior concerning the "screen @media" property in the .css of the HTML.Here is what it was doing and what it should be doing.
->Open chat, reduce browser size to the side, make the stream in theatre mode. Now stream is on top and chat is at the bottom as intended.Now here is what it does.

Unable to send Whispers I am unable to send whispers from my account. Every time I try, it says "Your whisper was not delivered." I am unable to determine what the issue was as I've been using the whispers functionality to send information to viewers that cannot be shared on screen including room codes for the games we're playing, information about their queue positions and so on.
Account is QuarrySea. This also seems to coincide with my bot account being incorrectly banned for doing exactly as he was programmed to do - TeddyBot3000.

No more reverse chat in Twitch! Windows 11, Google Chrome, When I Alt tab, then go back to the chrome window with twitch, text it typed backwards in the chat box. It would be nice if this didn't happen. it only happens with twitch and not other websites. It's not related to ctrl+shift, and its not related to related to the insert key. Pls Fix!

Chat ranomdly loses focus when typing more often than ever When I have the chat box selected and start typing, I often find I am not actually writing in the textbox and firing off all sorts of player hotkeys. Please fix this. It happens in both Chrome and Firefox and likely affects other browsers as well.
This bug has gotten increasingly prominent over the past two months and it's getting hard to manage. The fact that the cursor appears to be in the textbox without it being actually focused is super misleading and destroys the UX.

Can't copy mobile chat messages Android 13

Pixel 6aI see 6 other posts on X/Twitter going back to Sept 28 with the same issue. As well as a viewer in a stream saying they couldn't copy raid message from their tablet.
Can no longer tap and hold the message.
Can only tap the name.
Regular viewer no longer has option to copy text
Mods have option to copy text of others but can no longer copy their own text.This feature is useful for viewers to copy raid messages.

Unable to hide chat during Squad stream or Command Center The little arrow icon to hide chat does not appear during Command Center or Squad stream but only appears after I delete some HTML after I inspect the chat box on the web. Not sure if bug or not.

Handling for white space in chat. Hi, currently after a string reaches the limit. chat input-editor wraps the text into the next line, However if you try to input white space into the text box, after a limit it will displace the left side nav-bar into the void making nav-bar less accessible.
