Chat Effect for May 4th and 5th I have created two chat effects for Twitch for May the 4th be with you (May 4th) and Return of the Sith (May 5th). I have two H264 (MP4) files that show the idea.
I have uploaded them to my file site BillieJackFu Files:
https://bjfmg.net/LIvA7/raNAgUYO22.mp4 (May 5th)
https://bjfmg.net/LIvA7/zAcIhURU87.mp4 (May 4th)There are currently only 3 chat effects you can purchase with bits, this would be something fun for the StarWars unofficial holidays.
You can view the files on the site, no need to download them.

Stop highlighting my own username as a raider As a streamer and mod, I love the 'highlight raider messages' feature, as it helps me to better welcome new viewers!
But i'd like to suggest for it to not highlight my own username, whenever I raid a channel I mod for. I feel like it's unnecessary information, as I know I came in with the raid, and it ends up making it harder to read the chat.

Trans should not be censored LGBT stuff like trans people's lives and language should not be censored. If you want me to spend money on twitch, you need to focus on banning hate speech, not banning the gays

Chat Hello, good afternoon or evening, I have a problem and it is that when I want to broadcast live on Twitch when I click on the chat it doesn't look very good. Why does it look black and so I won't be able to see the messages on Twitch of what my followers say? My Twitch user account is this junkazama03 I hope they fix it as soon as possible because I've already tried. Unplug the internet etc... But it remains the same when I click on the chat it goes black when I transmit it I hope…

Adjust entire chat size on default twitch chat. Can we have a way to adjust the size? I use FFZ, and the room buttons that paste into your chat box do not work if you pop out the chat. But I love popout because I can adjust chat size. Can we make it an option to adjust the size from default screen?

Response to messages Response to messages.
It would not be bad if there were reactions to users' messages in chat.
If briefly, it is responses to messages of all users in the chat in the form of emoticons or emoji, for example, in the chat someone wrote “Hello” (any message) and it can be put a reaction in the form of emoticons waving.2 votes -
Automatically create clips for moderation actions like a ban I think it would help streamers if Twitch would store a 30 second clip of the stream when a chatter is banned that only the streamer and their moderators can view. It will help capture the context of what behavior and activities led to the ban.

Chat chat app, the remote chat that we would read on the phone while we watch the video in full screen on our tablet, we search for our streamer and we connect to the chat, it is more readable and we will finally be able to watch the video in full screen while reading the chat on our mobile

Private chat for Mods and Streamer during livestream. Private communication between the Streamer and the mods during a live stream should be possible within the stream chat.
Moving to a third party program for doing so is annoying, leads to messages not being seen, very outdated, and a feature that has been requested in the past quite often.
Sending messages within the live chat "check your dm on ...." kinda ruins the chat. Not everyone has the setup for running multiple programs to check for DMs from mods during the livestream.
Having "mod messages" visible within the chat for mods and streamer only speeds up the communication a…2 votes -
Phone # req lifted during recent visual change, then reinstated. Twitch staff thus lie about having no means to remove this demand. I've been posting on Twitch for over 10 years with a verified email address, but a few months ago, Twitch suddenly locked me out of posting on the entire website unless I also provided my phone number. I asked people who run certain channels if they activated this setting and they showed proof they never activated it, so this has to be Twitch's doing. I've asked Twitch staff about this for months via support tickets, but when an actual human responded to me, they claimed that this was for "everyone's security" when it clearly is not, since millions of Twitch…

identical chat messages should stack to keep flood/spam in check Yo.
You know the twitch chat: a lot of people are flooding the same emote or the same meme message. On the other hand there’s always a few lunatics who are trying to send a longer message or actually a fresh and relevant comment (not me tho) but it instantly disappears in the flood.
I could easily imagine the chat to have 30 second stacking window and the message that gets duplicated kind of stays in place and maybe its number grows with more spam, giving room and slowing down the chat allowing for more meme, while flooding will still…

Filter chat by badge Filter chat by badge. For bigger streamers with quick moving chats to quickly filter chats by badges that users have so they can read messages they might otherwise miss.

Allow a waiting period between visiting and chatting. I think, viewers need a waiting time to understand the status of the stream.
I would like to see a configurable waiting time so that we can't chat right after visiting. (0 seconds/10 seconds/30 seconds/1 minute)For example, this would prevent viewers from chatting upbeat greetings that don't fit the occasion when the streamer is talking about something serious.

Blocking while Modding If you have blocked a user, they should not be able to @ you or reply to you while you are Moderating. If you have blocked them, you must have a reason, but not always a big enough reason to remove them from everywhere.
As a Moderator of many chats, I have had to leave all of them due to this one user continuously trying to chat with me despite being blocked and banned. This needs to be fixed.

[Shared Chat] Label which chat a sub/cheer message is from Current in shared chats it's not easy at all to tell where a subscription or a bit cheer originated from. You can kind of tell with sub messages, but only if you click on their name or look for their badge. However, even then, you can't be sure that the resub message was for you because what if they are already subbed to you, but they subbed in the streamer's chat you are in a shared chat with?
It would benefit both streamers and viewers if you could clearly label or identify via specific colors on where a message originated…

Pinned message verification chat restriction Would be cool to add in an option for mods and the streamer themselves to select an option when pinning a message for all viewers to be forced to click accept or check a box to acknowledge that they have read what the pinned message says before they are allowed to message on stream again.
This would be helpful for the pinned messages that give a warning or show information that the streamer doesn't want to keep repeating to the audience so much because the viewers keep asking about it instead of looking at the pinned message.
