Real-Time Chat Translation for Streamers – Let Viewers Speak Their Own Language
Twitch could benefit from a feature that automatically translates chat messages into the streamer’s preferred language.
Example:
A viewer from Denmark joins an English-speaking stream. The viewer types in Danish, but the streamer sees it instantly in English. This allows for more natural interaction without forcing viewers to write in a language they’re uncomfortable with.
The original message could still be visible alongside the translation for transparency.
This feature would make Twitch much more accessible and inclusive for global audiences, especially smaller streamers who may not have mods or bots for translation. It would break language barriers and allow more people to connect across borders – live and in real-time.
