Shared Chat - Bans
Shared chat should be updated so it doesn't include channels one is banned from because it would make it hard to chat if a viewer is banned in at least 1 channel that is participating on the shared chat.
Example..
I'm currently banned on DiffuseMoose and he used the shared chat with KibblesAwoo on November 23rd between 9:20 pm and 9:30 pm PST. When it was activated, it locked my chat POV on KibblesAwoo to "You are currently banned" which locked me from chatting from KibblesAwoo's side of the shared chat.
If implemented, it should filter out messages that are sent from all participating channels in the shared chat that the viewer is currently banned in from appearing without the viewer having to go to another stream chat, contacting a participant in the shared chat or block all channels that are participating in the shared chat from contacting them which would only block that streamer's messages from appearing for the viewer.
Side note in relation to the above example..
I've contacted KibblesAwoo about the situation this topic is based on.

I was thinking we could see a tag on the message saying it's only visible in a streamer's channel just like how chat bot command responses or timed messages are shown. It would solve the whole issue of people being locked out of the shared chat from channel(s) they're banned from.

Right now i am channel banned from 2 channels because of off twitch drama and it affects me watching and interacting with a streamer that i am subbed to for a while it would be nice to filter the mesages through streamers so people can chat and interact and of course u can put in anything to ban someone on twitch fro no reason at all it is unfair

Totally agree, the way it works right now is highly unfair.

As a twitch mod i agree with this. Recently had the case that another streamer banned one of our chatters for a reason our mod team didn't agree with (saying they spoiled when all they did was calling out said streamer for cheating)
We think it would be a lot better if bans were treated like deletes are treated. That way every mod team can decide for themselves if they want that person to show up in their chat or not (and it really isn't that big of a hustle for every mod team to ban a person)
At the very least it would be nice for streamers to have an option to allow people in shared chats to still participate in your chat if they're banned on someone elses chat during shared chat.
If the user tries to reply to someone through shared chat it could just result in an error saying "message could not be sent" or it just doesn't show the banned chat for them entirely (and ofc their messages no longer show up in the stream that they've been banned in)

I will have to agree with this.
I've been watching various streamers and when they do consider "collaboration" streams; all it takes is 1 person to have me banned and completely shuts down access to chat to the streamer I am supporting; yet are still allowed to view the stream and buy/spend bits and subscriptions on the unbanned channel you are supporting.
This can be exploited very harshly that not only hurts the streamer doing collaberation but it forces them to choose a side in private matter that they themselves are not involve in or wishes not to intervene.
Solution:
During "collaboration" streams and combined chats, if a person is banned from another streamer(s) channel; have the banned person's posts not appear in the chat logs to be viewed from other people and the streamer(s) that issued the banned to be seen on their chat log channel. This way, people who dont want to see a person's post from banned accounts can remain in their streamer's channel.
If a follower or the streamer(s) leave their chat/channel and enter another streamer's chat/channel to cause drama; that breaches ToS in the form of targeted harassment.
