The Chat Highlight banner hides message content until the user scrolls down, or another message pushes it up
When a user that has a chat highlight (Returning Chatter, Suspicious User etc) the message content will be pushed slightly off screen, hidden beneath the "Send a message" box in Mod view. This means that mods have to either manually scroll down the chat to see the message, or wait for another chat message to push it up.
This is particularly an issue if, for example, a suspicious or monitored user says something undesirable that we might miss for longer than we would like to.
It seems that the height of the chat highlight banner is not factored into the message height offset when the message is added to the bottom of the window.
To reproduce, view the Moderator view of a stream in the Firefox browser (I haven't tried other browsers) version 121.0 (64-bit). Have a highlighted user send messages when the chatbox is full of other user messages, meaning a new message being added would require the chat to auto scroll up, or for the user to manually scroll down.

The Chat Highlight banner can be frustrating when it hides message content, requiring users to scroll down manually or wait for a new message to push it up before they can fully read what's been shared. This disrupts the user experience, especially in fast-moving chats or support conversations. A more intuitive solution would be for the banner to auto-collapse or fade after a few seconds. Just like understanding a cat’s preferences through informative content such as Do Cats Like to Be Petted (https://catsxpert.com/do-cats-get-jealous/)? small design tweaks can make interactions smoother and more user-friendly.

The Chat Highlight banner is designed to initially hide message content, revealing it only when the user scrolls down or when another message pushes it up, ensuring a clean and organized interface. Similarly, tools like the Block Blast Puzzle Solver (available at https://blockblastsolverapp.com/ ) help players uncover hidden strategies by providing step-by-step solutions to challenging levels, making complex puzzles more manageable. Just as the banner gradually reveals content, the solver guides users through the game, enhancing their problem-solving skills and overall experience. This combination of intuitive design and strategic assistance ensures a seamless and engaging interaction for both chat interfaces and puzzle enthusiasts.

The Chat Highlight banner, designed to draw attention to important notifications, temporarily obscures message content until the user either scrolls down or another message shifts it upward. While this ensures key updates aren't overlooked, it can occasionally interrupt message flow. Optimizing user experience for such features is crucial, similar to the seamless interaction offered by products like the Sego Zero 50, which prioritize efficiency and clarity.
