Can't reply to messages or expand threads in SL desktop app or Stream Manager
Today, when I tried to stream, I noticed I couldn't expand threads and reply to messages in Streamlabs desktop app, or in Stream Manager. But I could on my channel page, where there's a viewer count that can't be turned off. I had to put a small post-it over top, which solved the problem, but not as well as I wanted. Why am I all of a sudden not able to expand threads or reply to comments in Streamlabs desktop app, and Stream Manager? Will this issue be resolved soon?

Thanks for the update, Stephen. Smooth database updates are always a good sign that the platform is moving forward in the right direction. Excited to hear about the new bot mitigation features—you’d be surprised how many apps, even messaging ones, face similar issues. For example, many people using WhatsApp Plus Yukle https://azeplusyukle.net often look for extra privacy and security settings because bots and spam can be a real headache there too. It’s nice to see platforms putting more focus on user protection alongside performance improvements.

This issue highlights the growing complexity of live-streaming toolchains where integrations between services (like Twitch and Streamlabs) can break due to token mismatches, UI script conflicts, or widget misconfigurations. It's a good reminder of the fragility of real-time chat systems when dependent on embedded web views and third-party extensions. Proactive debugging steps like cache clearing, OAuth re-authentication, and toggling widget settings (e.g., disabling 7TV in Chatbox) are essential first moves. Ideally, platforms should offer clearer error logging or fallback UI behavior when chat interaction fails.

It sounds like you're encountering a persistent issue with the Streamlabs Desktop app and Stream Manager, which might stem from a recent update or a temporary software glitch. A few troubleshooting steps worth trying include restarting the app, ensuring you're on the latest version (updates often address known bugs), and clearing the app cache. If the issue persists, a clean reinstall can help reset configuration files that might be corrupted. Also, double-check that Streamlabs has the necessary system and account permissions. If these steps don't help, it's worth checking the Streamlabs support forums or submitting a support ticket—chances are you're not the only one affected. Hope this gets resolved quickly!

Since you mentioned that the issue isn't present on your channel page, it seems like it could be related to either a temporary bug in Streamlabs or a Twitch-side change affecting third-party (https://bubblebobatea.net/) applications. Here are a few things you might want to try while waiting for an official fix.

It sounds like you're dealing with a frustrating issue, especially when trying to interact with your viewers during a stream. Not being able to expand threads or reply to messages in both the Streamlabs (https://bubblebobatea.net/) desktop app and Stream Manager can definitely disrupt engagement and make managing chats more difficult.

It sounds like you're experiencing a frustrating issue with the Streamlabs desktop app and Stream Manager. This could be due to a temporary bug or a recent update. A good first step would be to restart the app, as sometimes this can resolve minor glitches. Additionally, make sure your Streamlabs desktop app is up to date, as updates often include bug fixes. If the problem persists, try clearing the cache or reinstalling the app to reset any settings that might be causing the issue. Also, check to ensure that Streamlabs has the necessary permissions to interact with your system and accounts. If none of these steps work, it's possible that Streamlabs is aware of the issue and is working to fix it. You could reach out to their support team for more assistance or check their forums to see if others are experiencing the same problem. Hopefully, the issue (https://thedentaku.com/) will be resolved soon. Let me know if you need further help!
