Chat replies to show the reply addressed to the previous poster in the thread, instead of the original poster only.

Current chat replies is a neat idea, but the in-chat visuals shows the reply seemingly only to the original poster of the thread, instead of the previous poster/actual user that one is replying to.

Showing the actual person you're replying to makes it less confusing. [Affects when the thread has more than 1 reply.]

Based on this idea and other feedback, we have updated how chat replies work, to allow you to reply to a specific message in a thread directly! To make replies easier to follow, when responding to a specific message in a thread of responses, your message will only @ the person you are responding to, rather than the user whose comment initiated the thread. Thanks for your feedback!

    This has been bugging me ever since they introduced chat replies. It would be so simple and make a lot more sense to tag the opposite person every time someone sends a message in a thread. It is extremely frustrating when you reply to someone who replied to your original message and it DOESN'T tag the other person and vice versa.

    Every time someone uses the chat reply with thread feature it replies to the fisrt comment of the thread but not to the last one (which should, obviously, be the one replied to).

    when you reply the a reply it looks like you reply to the first message and can create confusion and won't highlight the thread to the person you replied to

    I would like the reply feature to show above your message the message you clicked on instead of the first message in the tread because the way it currently is can lead to it looking like you are replying to your own message. This would be a bit like the way Discord's reply feature works.

    Currently, when a user replies to a thread their post will appear in between other users' posts that are not in the thread. This can cause posts in a thread to be lost, especially in chats that move at a fast pace.

    For users to keep track of threads more easily there should be a separate space for threads that a user has posted in. Such as a window about the size of the Whisper windows. Or maybe have the thread appear at the bottom of the screen with boarders separating it for the rest of chat.
