Add a FOLLOW button to show up on the interface when you click in someone's username.
It would be extremely useful to follow who raids us, or follow streamers that receive a shoutout in someone's chat.

When streamers shout out fellow friend streamers on raids I'd like to be able to clic on his name (on mobile or PC) and have the option to follow them instead of adding them as a friend. I may be blind be having friends is a useful thing on FB, what Twitch has, from a content creator point of view is streamers and viewers...
Don't see where friends come in the equation.

As a previous user and streamer of Mixer there was a easy option to click someones name which provided a drop down menu to select follow on the user. Speaking to a few mixer streamers who have since moved to twitch from there they are finding it difficult to follow new people. The only way we can follow someone is by clicking their name and then dragging it to a new tab in a browser and then waiting for that persons channel to load for us to follow. Maybe imperilment a follow button next to the whisper, add friend and gift sub. I was thinking of maybe a heart in the space left next to the gift sub button similar to what you have when you visit someones channel just the heart and no wording.

There's a perfect little spot next to the whipser and gift sub button for a small follow heart similar to above a stream.

I noticed we can now follow people by clicking on their emotes, so I guess it'll be added to the viewer card soon? It'd be the next logical thing imo. Hopefully it will happen!

Please add a Follow button to the viewer card in chat. Specifically the class "tw-bottom-0 viewer-card_actions". For non-techs, the Viewer Card is the pop-up that happens when you click someone's name in chat.

A good amount of streamers like to shout out people in their chat who also stream, or based on a chat discussion, you may want to follow someone who is participating in chat. It's a poor choice of design flow that a button exists to "Add Friend" but not to Follow them. It would be much easier to have a button right there in the Viewer Card instead of having to click their name, click their name in the Viewer Card to get to their page, then click the follow button there as their host stream is loading and battling for your bandwidth.
