I suggest entering a rating of a message in a chat that can be Liked as well as Disliked if it gains enough rating, it is displayed by the author of the channel on the Screen, some people stream with a delay and even if you write a message it may not be read, not everyone has money to donate to notice your message

So, my idea is to introduce some sort of like/up voting system on chat messages. The reason I had this idea was because a lot of the time, streamers ask the chat important questions, mostly related to the game they're playing, and they'll get a bunch of different answers in the chat. This way, if a person in the chat types the correct answer first, everyone else who knows it's the correct answer can upvote the message and if it reaches a certain threshold then this message gets saved and archived somewhere, where the streamer can quickly find the message instead of having to read through hundreds of messages flying around twitch chat, some of which might be wrong. It will also enable chat to get messages through to streamers, which as a viewer can sometimes be very frustrating, when a streamer is doing something completely wrong and is struggling and the whole chat is trying to help but we can't get their attention. I hope you understand my idea and it's rough implementation.

Imo, dislikes are pointless, but likes or reactions as a reply to the message could be a good idea. It is just faster to express your opinion by double click or another quick option rather than replying personally to a target person

I like this! I posted an idea expanding a bit on your idea. It think that by using upvotes together with chat groups, Twitch could drastically reduce the spam, while also allowing viewers to hold meaningful conversations with other viewers:

Give chatters in slower moving chats a chance to like a message that will earn a chatter a special badge.

I think this will potentially promote people going into smaller streams for better opportunity since larger chats can move so fast you miss a lot of messages and also it rewards people for adding to the chat in memorable ways.

add some type of liking and disliking messages in chat. I feel like this is a good way to make chat experience more interactive. I know I personally prefer to read chat rather than type my own messages (unless I'm spamming) so I think that a good way to allow lurkers to interact more with chat would be some like and dislike feature. someone posts something funny, you can like it. A mod types anything at any time, you can dislike it. probably make it togglable both for streamers and viewers.

When viewing a popular twitch streamer, it is very hard to make sense of what is going on with the chat. It also makes it very easy for the streamer to miss good comments.

That's why I am suggesting a highlighted comments. These are comments that would stay fixed and stay visible for a set amount of time for the streamer and other viewers to see.

Comments can get highlighted through a few ways
-It can be highlighted by the streamer themselves
-It can be voted up by other users
-Spams like "yay" or "nay" or "no sounds" can be grouped up into a single comment with a counter.

It can be refined even more, but this is basic idea.

this guy wrote something really funny in chat , everyone LULD and shit, but the streamer didnt see it because he was gaming. would be cool if those chat messages get saved so that the streamer can get the maximum content and comments about the gameplay out there. would make it so that the chat is as important ofa fun factor as the streamer
