Absolutely need this just as a normal viewer who has to f5 because chat lost connection and can't reconnect. Since Twitch already logs and stores chat for vods this whould be doable.

Why don't you preload the chat for the last couple of minutes? So we can understand what the streamer is talking about once we travel between channels. Having an empty chat doesn't help at all

I completely agree with this. As a mod for multiple channels ( some with only me as a mod at times and me only using mobile atm) would be cool to be able to at least have chat logs available like you can on PC

Sometimes page goes bad, reload is needed. But as streamer you want also look back and pick up the conversation. So reload page with like 10 last lines as possible above, that will help a lot. Empty chat is not good.
Weird enough, if i replay part of stream, chat will show up. Why not with reload page?
