3 months later and *still* no way to disable this garbage.

So instead of giving us the ability to disable Power-Ups, you've...taken away the ability to customize the icons for Power-Ups. Thanks for letting us know where your priorities lie, Twitch.

A month later and Twitch still hasn't given us the option to disable this "feature" that no one asked for. If it were any other "feature" with this much backlash, it would've been reverted within the first couple of days.
Twitch, do better.

Yet another "feature" that no one asked for, that we get forced into, with no way of disabling at the time of writing this comment.

This is an annoying and pointless "feature" in several ways, Twitch.
1. This prompt tends to pop up after sending 2 or 3 messages. Encouraging someone to make a clip from just a few messages results in a *lot* of prompts for making clips. These prompts also block the lower portion of chat where the most recent messages are.
2. If people make clips when prompted, that ends up making a LOT of "dead" clips. You don't make a clip when "chat seems active". You make a clip when something funny, interesting, or amazing happens in stream.
In one day alone, I was prompted 7 times to "make a clip" because "chat seems active". All 7 of those clips would've captured nothing but general gameplay on stream.
Please stop adding "features" that no one asks for, especially ones that are extremely obnoxious to the end users.

A majority of ads on web and TV apps should now have normalized sound. We are still continuing the work on this and will update the status again when it is fully complete!

Hey all! Thanks for this thread. We recently deprecated anonymous Cheering after we discovered it was being abused. While we understand some viewers prefer not being recognized for Cheering, we made this change to ensure a safer experience for those who were negatively impacted.
We’ve also heard your concerns on what this means for the future of Bits. This deprecation is not related to any plans to limit Cheering with Bits on Twitch, and is solely focused on providing a safer experience for our community.

Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads!
These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. Creators will receive ad revenue for each SDA shown.

At this point, I've used a particular "element blocker" to remove the power-ups feature from the list of channel point redemptions.
Twitch, if you won't do it, your users *WILL* use their own way to hide it.
